I hope its R&B driven like "Sabotage." Pop doesn't deserve her.

Yas. Hope it's a bop. 'Sabotage' was cool and everything, it's just too slow and too chilled.

She premiered this at the iHeartRadio summit. It kind reminds me of Kiana LedƩ's "Ex." Here are different clips put together in one video:

Sounds teriffic. I'm just curious what the radio edit would be if this is the first single. Actually, fuck that. She could easily pause between a and man. Problem solved!

Do yāall think one day she could achieve the success of her debut & second album? Or is her commercial success done? Itās so heartbreaking for me to see how she was owned by a broken label that couldnāt release anything nor let her go...

They need to make a documentary , like the one on Uproxx, sell it to Netflix and promote the hell out of the lead single. + the label needs to invest into spotify promo and radio exposure/payola

I think the potential is there for a big comeback. It was kind of hard to see with Mad Love because there was really only one single & the promo sucked. But every time I see someone come across her again after not thinking about her/not knowing what sheās been up to for yeaaaarrs they always seem to have a ton of respect for her, talk about how great she sounds, how good she looks etc.
With the right material and heavy promotion I think this project could do really well.

F Apologies definitely didn't feel like the big "comeback" single she needed and it was enlightening to learn she didn't believe it in either but conceded for the sake of getting her album out. Why Atlantic was insistent on that being the single and then doing nothing to promote it is beyond me.
Very excited that she's reunited with Aaron, who truly champions her, and that she's doubling down on the R&B music she wants to make. I have zero expectation for major mainstream success but do hope Rhythmic will be kind to Man and whatever else she releases.

Iām not gonna lie, iām a pop fan and i like good pop music. I love r&b too, but i wouldnāt be mad if she includes some pop leaning songs on her album.

This is disappointing. I like JoJo, but I donāt see it for her, and I donāt know what can be done. Her music is never gonna appeal to the masses again and itās like her team canāt see that. This song will quickly fade away just like Sabotage, which isnāt gonna be on the albumāneither is Joanna.
ETA: I never saw the issue with the pop/R&b influenced stuff she did. I didnāt even mind songs like The Other Chick. Demonstrate was more mature and bold than this.

This is almost a carbon copy of Kiana Ledeās āExā. Lol. I like it though, but yea I donāt see it being a hit. Hopefully Iām wrong!

Underwhelmed. This sounds way too much like "Ex". The chorus is almost identical melodically.

I like it, a lot actually. It's a sultry mood.
That being said, I do get the Kiana comparisons. And this is an album track, not a single.

Thanks to everybody for bringing up Kiana because I've had the chorus melody on repeat in my head trying to figure out why it sounded so familiar.

I love this. I personally think music should be made thatās good. If it has potential to be a āhitā too thatās cool, but Iād rather have quality music all the way through. This is a great song.
