I was surprised to see her album out today. I had no idea. I always like several or almost all tracks of her albums so I got excited to find out what this one brings.
I started listening and after one or two songs I found myself skipping tracks waiting for something that will catch my attention. On FIRST listen I am very disappointed. I didn't like anything. Not even Mojito sounds exciting to me although it got a bit better listening to it for a second time today now with a video (which I didn't like either, ha ha). Oh! I do like Ya Tú Me Conoces very much, but that's an old one...
Anyway... I guess I'll just have to handle this album single by single to see if something grows in me. I may still give the album a try one more time.
A pity because I've liked her since the very beginning of her career.

Wow I totally lost track of this era! Was Mojito a decent hit? And the album?? No idea in which single they are already. I may revisit the album one day. I just didn’t feel it at all the time I heard when it came out.

I just didn’t feel it at all the time I heard when it came out. Mojito peaked at #18 on Latin Pop Airplay. Not so sure about the album. She just released "Cancelado" as a single last Thursday. |

As much as I've liked her since the early 90s (or is it late 80s??) I think I'll wait for the next album and hopefully I like it. I listened to the second single. Didn't feel it at all... :(
