It's probably over for LIG to reach #1 unless The Box decreases very quickly. It'll soon be overtaken by either Don't Start Now or Blinding Lights.

Do we really think DSN could hit number 1? I wouldn’t be surprised if Blinding Lights does, but Dua doesn’t have much room left to grow. She’s about to peak at radio, streaming has plateaued...she could do a 69 cent discount but that won’t do much (tho it DID help propel “Havana” to the top)

I’m pretty sure I made that abundantly clear 2 weeks ago when I said it 6 million times about “no time to die” debuting at 11 (which it didn’t) but still

The only thing major that should help the song at this point is her album's release next month.

Havana went to #1 because of that discount AND the album being released that same week. It was the first time someone had a #1 on their debut single and #1 album since Beyonce I think.

I think based on its streaming and YouTube dominance alone The Box is definitely safe at #1 this week. HOWEVER I don’t want to underestimate Stupid Love... I’ve been seeing a LOT of people suddenly predict it debuting in the top 5 and it’s held up very well over the last few days. I’m being more conservative and guessing somewhere around a #7 or #8 debut but while #1 is all but out of the question right now it’ll be interesting to see just how high it gets this week

Heartless: 18k iTunes vs 58k total (40k physical - 3.2x)
AIWFCIY: 11k iTunes vs 27k total (16k physical - 2.45x)
Yummy: 24k iTunes vs 71k total (47k physical - 2.95x)
On: 31k iTunes vs 86k total (55k physical - 2.75x)

Stupid Love is going to have like 45k from iTunes alone, and the physicals disappeared from her website yesterday because they sold out. (They were apparently worldwide not just US, but she likely sold a ton in the US within its first few days anyway before they sold out)

I don’t mind #2 or #6 peaks, both because they’re even numbers and because I don’t see Top 5 as a particularly special region/distinction as each position in the Top 10 is special as opposed to a #26 vs. #27 peak where there’s not really a difference.

lmao what? She hasnt nearly peaked in radio yet. Sis is gaining millions of audience a day, i imagine she will keep gaining for atleast another three weeks
