Sad, but I'm not surprised that COVID-19 has a lot to do with it.

I'll repost my Twitter statement here: Also, thank you for this iconic moment Radio Disney Does this affect the international radio stations?? I've talked with someone who apparently wrote to one of them and they said they should be unaffected, but typically when the main branch of something shuts down like this the rest will follow suit if not immediately within a year or two. Added today: BTS - Life Goes On Gaby Nevaeh - Radio Where is Prisoner this is homophobic

Not on Top Songs yet, but Radio Disney is playing Gyffin's "Safe With Me" with Audrey Mika, H.E.R.'s "Hold Us Together", Lost Kings' "Runaway" with Destiny Rogers, and Miley Cyrus' "Plastic Hearts". No Christmas freeze on Radio Disney, though they've got Christmas songs in the mix. Won't hear this variety anywhere else. They'll be missed

Is there going to be a 2020 Year-End Countdown? I don’t think they did one, but instead their did a bracket on social media and the Ultimate #1 Song of 2020 was “Dynamite” by BTS! http://instagram.com/p/CJcSp_bH9vF

The station has signed off on SiriusXM, but their web player on their site and iHeartRadio are still going, and they're playing songs from the 2000s and 2010s; no DJ, but there are some segments with artists talking about their favorite songs that I'm not sure are from a previous event or specifically for the closure.

Yeaaaah, they're just throwing things out from the archive with no rhyme or reason. They just played a "throwback track of the day" spot talking about Demi Lovato, "who is preparing to go on tour in 2010", and then played S.O.S. by Jonas Brothers.
Am I complaining? No. I'm glad to hear Potential Breakup Song and 1985 on any form of radio again, let alone Radio Disney.

It will be going out of service on January 22nd, 2021. Yep, and also Radio Disney Country is officially gone as of 12pm PT on December 31, 2020. Aside from those Throwback segments hosted by Daniel, the remaining DJs, Morgan and Candice, as well as the weekend DJs, are all gone.

Even though they played a song with Demi before that segment, which was “No Promises” by Cheat Codes (2017).

Yep, and also Radio Disney Country is officially gone as of 12pm PT on December 31, 2020. And now that RD Country is gone, AM1110 is back to playing Radio Disney! I get a bit of interference from 1090 and people's appliances, but this is a great way for us to say goodbye. The oldest song I've heard so far is My Heart Will Go O, then Number 1 song of 1998 on the Year-End Countdown. EDIT: They played Get Ready For This by 2Unlimited, the Number 1 song of 1996 and Men in Black, the number 1 song of 1997!

In fact, one of them even had the instrumental of “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd featured in the background!

They are IDing as both AM 1110 and 99.1 FM on the air. Can anyone confirm if 99.1 FM in LA is playing Radio Disney?

99.1FM is Beaumont, which is Riverside area. I cannot get it from Ventura County/San Fernando Valley, it is a Country station out here. I'm only getting AM1110.

They're playing sports on AM1110 Los Angeles now. Then it goes back to Radio Disney for a few seconds and the sportscaster comes back and says "Sorry we're having technical difficulties." How about sorry that you're pre-empting my radio station?

How about sorry that you're pre-empting my radio station? This was probably why, 710 AM was airing a Rams game, so they’re using 1110 AM as an overflow for Lakers games.

I wonder if the throwbacks will include the old 60s songs that were played like currents back in the day.
Tuned it for some. So far the oldest song I've heard is Hilary Duff's "So Yesterday."
