This suffices as an "Opie Taylor' replacement as the format's alternative rap representative. It owes a lot to The Strokes (it even samples several of the riffs from the Strokes' early-aughts hit of the same name), and following the general flow of that hit makes this pretty decent.
Really my only issue with this one is the goddamn AutoTune. Machine Gun Kelly, Yelawolf, and even 24KGolden don't need it added to this obvious of an extent. This is Alt, Jackie boy, the AutoTune isn't as welcome here.

I actually didn't mind this at all. It has a bit more rap/hip-hop included than say something from The Dirty Heads or Sublime with Rome, so I'm not sure if it should be on Alt, but it's not too far off from belonging. I really hope The Strokes got major credit for their riffs in the background as I noticed them seconds after the song starting.
