This song’s been on the Hot Rock Songs chart for 17 weeks now. I’m surprised it didn’t go for adds earlier.

The guitar on this is positively ethereal and makes this song, even if the lyrics aren't all that great. The thought of the superb instrumental sections getting massacred for radio airplay is depressing, though.

I would love for this to be a "Truth Hurts" and smash 2 years after release lol but success stories for these attempts are understandably rare

This music video never fails to make me laugh. It's just as evergreen as the guitar lol

This song’s been on the Hot Rock Songs chart for 17 weeks now. I’m surprised it didn’t go for adds earlier. Is there a reason for this? Like was it a trend on Tiktok or something?

I think it would’ve gotten airplay and adds elsewhere if it was becoming a viral hit. This is really something that belongs on alt, Hot Rock Songs is mostly hard rock with some alt sleepers thrown in, with two Panic! songs static at 1 and 2 for over a year.

I don't know what to think of this. I kind of liked it, but also wasn't that impressed on a first listen. I feel that the vocals need to be more distinct, but somehow on the other hand, the song itself works well. I want to give this some more listens. Maybe it can grow on me more.

That Videos thumbnail kept me from wanting to preview this, but now that I have I say it's ok. Nice melody, his vocals are a bit boring and they sounds like ten other guys who sound like this, but its still from the decent end of songs now charting on Alt. I'll stick with "Loneliness For Love", Same style just a much better song.

I stumbled across this on Spotify (you know when Spotify does the autoplay thing?) and I thought it was nice on first listen - probably will have to let it sink in more but it's cool to see this pop up on Alt either way.

My local Alternative station added this to their playlist this week. They don't normally add songs until they reach the top 20, sometimes even the top 10. So, I'm assuming this will be a hit?

Finally enters Billboard Alt at #37 this week. This song first charted on Hot Rock Songs 31 weeks ago, which is just the week before the 2020 chart year started. Kind of crazy how they waited 20 weeks after it charted there to finally send it to alt. I assume something similar will happen with “OK” by Wallows (similar style songs as well!) but for a different reason.

This is a huge grower. I liked it on first listen, but after each listen it just gets better and better.

I really like this song. Seems like it's been around forever. Not sure why it's taking this long for it to take off. This should be a top 10/top 5 hit

This is a huge grower. I liked it on first listen, but after each listen it just gets better and better. Yeah I feel about the same. I thought this was just alright and a little dull the first time, but I keep finding myself coming back to it anyway and each time I return to it I like it a bit more. I won't complain about this smashing

Been enjoying this one for a while now. It’s very simple but just has such a positive upbeat feel to it. Glad to see it’s going to become a pretty big hit.

So happy this hit top 10. I thought it'd fizzle out in the 30's.
Honestly kinda surprised AAA didn't latch onto this quicker. This sounds like it'd do well there.

I need to check Dayglow's other material (I've only listened to a couple other songs) but this gives me the same vibes Foster The People gave me back in 2011 with "Pumped Up Kicks." I don't think any part of this song sounds distinctly like that song - it just gives the same general mellow/trippy mood...and Dayglow, like FTP, I think could emerge successful with a similar type of sound, with #1s, top 10s and more.
