I feel the exact opposite way. Almost nothing on Atake felt like Uzi- it could have been a Polo G album by just removing the last 3 songs. This stuff actually feels like Lil Uzi Vert

Adore You is okay, it's fine but it's not really a song I find myself coming back to or actively seek out. The Bones is okay, better than 10,000 Hours and I'd rather have it than that song top the country charts but again, it's just okay.

And I've made it very clear about my dislike and disinterest on Say So in numerous other threads, and if anything, the song only gets worse the more I hear it.

That makes. Since I had so much fun with EA and it being the first time I enjoyed an Uzi project, I just thought I'd have the same feelings about the deluxe.

....how does it sound remotely like polo g? at all? like if anything the depression present on p2 is tangentially similar to something he would make but the upbeat, lightweight attitude of songs like baby pluto definitely do not sound like they are from a polo g album.

I disagree, I don't think the album sounds anonymous. I like the spacey and futuristic feel of the songs and the alien abduction skits add character to the album that you don't see in other trap albums. Like take any three Lil Baby albums and re-arrange various songs to different albums, I guarantee most would not even notice but I feel you can't do that with EA and the rest of Uzi's discography.

Uzi does definitely have a style and a lot of it is present on EA. But if someone else sat down and thought "today I will make an album that sounds like Lil Uzi Vert" they could recreate it easily. It lacks the flavor even if it's the same dish

She seems to be continuing down that "Hate Me" road for the sound of her (potentially) upcoming album. Not a big fan of the pathway she's taking to be honest but since I do love her hits from the 2010s, I wish her the best (commercially).

It's weird sometimes. For example, Pentatonix has the deluxe editions of 'That's Christmas to Me' and 'PTXmas' chart separately. In fact, not only separately, they were combined.

'That's Christmas To Me / PTXmas: Deluxe' peaked at #64 on the Billboard 200 and had 7 weeks on the chart. Whereas the original versions peaked at #2 with 53 weeks and #7 with 33 weeks respectively. Weirdest decision I've seen for albums.
