Given that two Kenny Rogers tracks debuted on Spotify and that sales are bound to be strong, I think there's a good chance to have at least one of his songs re-entering the charts this week. Shame it couldn't have been due to other circumstances π

I hate myself for listening to the album leak, but Dua Lipa easily has the best album of 2020 so far. Maybe I'm being a little biased, but this is slightly better than "After Hours" which I thought was probably the best album I've heard since "Lover" by T.S. "Levitating" is that ONE song that stands out the most and I hope it becomes a single later on (If Dua's team is smart)...I can feel all the 80s dance vibes listening to "Levitating". "Break My Heart" is such a bop. you do know that this isnt the only thread that exists on pulse right? you can talk about this in the dua lipa discussion thread.. I apologize, but this is where I see everyone talking about Abel's album and even Uzi's album when they were out so I thought I could discuss here. |

I'm kinda surprised how much of a sales and streams surge there has been Kenny Rogers.
Like no disrespect - RIP to the legend - and maybe it's because I'm not at all knowledgeable on old-school country, but I'm legit surprised how many people had such a fondness for Kenny Rogers. Like I'm genuinely curious and interested in how many people born between 1990 and 2010 know or grew up on him.

Like I'm genuinely curious and interested in how many people born between 1990 and 2010 know or grew up on him. His music was huge after the Vietnam War and especially throughout the Casino boom in the 80's...as well as Country Music Boom in the 70s. I'd say its the grandparents of the 80s-90s kids that play his Vinyls or cassettes a lot which is why he is so remembered. Also, don't forget that country music is one of the most-consumed music today (digitally). |

I wouldn't mind if After Hours ended up becoming a Visual Album though I hope it does tho. Same, Abel's acting ability has gotten a lot better since 'Uncut Gems', so I would to see what he's able to truly deliver. |

All I remember is the False Alarm video He's died in the music videos for the following songs: "The Knowing", "Can't Feel My Face" (possibly), "Tell Your Friends", "False Alarm", "Party Monster", and "I Feel It Coming". i really hope blinding lights will go #1 this week, and i think it will too. i'm praying for dua to reach #1 as well once future nostalgia officially drops. i'm pleasantly surprised it's still gaining on the radio, plus i think it'll have a slow decline anyways once it does.
