I don’t think it’s too soon to push the next single. Both Heartless/Blinding Lights have been out since November. It’s the perfect time to release the next single. If I was his label I would also look to see which tracks perform the best on Spotify and maybe push one of those to Urban.

Way way way too soon. Let Blinding Lights smash first and then put this out in early may.

Way way way too soon. Let Blinding Lights smash first and then put this out in early may. I’m sorry but this is the streaming era. Waiting til May to push the next single would absolutely kill the momentum of the era. A new single should be sent to radio immediately since these next few weeks around the album roll out will result in huge streaming. Waiting til May will minimize the success of the future singles. Ariana and Drake’s last eras should’ve taught us all that there’s absolutely room at radio for multiple singles by the same artist to chart at once. Both “In My Feelings” and “Break Up With Your Girlfriend” launched immediately with the album release even as they had two previous #1 singles charting. The Weeknd can pull off the same hat trick.

This feels a bit too safe to be a single. Maybe I'm biased, but I would prefer something like "Hardest to Love."

Was blasting this and Save Your Tears in the car earlier and both sounded so good. The saxophone on this is amazing.

Wow people do love their saxophone, but in this song the saxophone part is rather average, not amazing. But I guess more saxophone in more songs is the message!

This is just bliss. He has the perfect vocal timbre to go with this production/vibe. I wish they would put out an extended version clocking in at like 8 minutes with an even longer saxophone outro. The sax is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I Feel It Coming will always have a special place in my heart, but THIS is closing the gap with every listen as my favourite pop song by him.

I like this a lot and prefer the slower production of this to "Blinding Lights". They both have the 80's new wave sound but I think it's slightly less apparent on this. The chorus sounds very sweet that I also like. This is my favorite out of the 4 I own so far. I own the 2 singles, "After Hours" and now this.

After the third listen, I like this. I can see why it’s picked for the next single. Not too many other tracks on the album that scream single. Or at least aren’t a snooze fest.

seems that this is not gonna be worldwide hit, not even top 40 in UK and also first signs in US(itunes) are not promising.

Sometimes you actually say the most absurd of things. 😂 Anyway, the song is top ten on Spotify in the UK (top 15 on Apple Music on there as well), so where the hell is the basis for your argument? Did you forget iTunes, for the most part, is irrelevant to album tracks, especially considering that many that consume the song, are doing it through the album on streaming platforms because you know, its radio release as a single hasn't occured yet and thus the average person that goes out of their to buy songs on iTunes, hasn't heard it yet... Go back to praising that ringtone album by Justin Bieber man, lol.

Anyways, i’ve seen and read many reviews & reactions, and the feedback for this song is very positive. Even hardcore old weeknd fans love it (and get crazy when the sax hits) I predict a huge hit.

Sure, just remember though that you were the same guy who said "Blinding Lights" wasn't lead worthy, yet look how well that statement aged (like many others you've made). Anyway, I'm with you, we'll see.

Dang, this is amazing, probably the best single yet so far. The album is my favorite of the year so far, it's just full of bangers. The Weeknd has really become a superstar act and I never could have imagined that back in 2011 would he first started gaining notoriety.

I think I can see why it would make sense to have this be the next single. Is it just me or does this sound similar to Harry Style' "Adore You"? Actually does this song have the same BPM as "Adore You"?

I don't know man, Break Up With Your Girlfriend actually seems like a pretty good example of a song that should have been a huge #1 smash, but was hindered by the succes of 7 Rings.

Most likely the former though because of the screenshot focusing on the lady's eyes.
