Absolutely love this song, and I think it will be a huge hit for him. The steel guitar in the background is such a nice touch. Glad they made the right choice.

Smart choice from Aldean and BBRMG. "We Back" felt like a great concert tour opener, not a career hit.

Absolutely the right choice based on streams. At least on Apple Music, looks like it’s streaming more than “We Back”. Since it’s already connecting, should be a big hit for him. I personally am not a fan of R&B Jason Aldean, but I’m sure it’ll grow on me like “Burnin’ It Down” did.

I like the instrumentation and melody on this one... not so much the production. I'm getting used to it tho. I'm still holding hope that the best song on the album, "Some Things You Don't Forget" is a single before the era ends.

Getting "We Back" off the airwaves is going to be so damn refreshing. Smart move with this second time around too!

Decent choice for the single. I also really like "I Don't Drink Anymore", but as long as that's next, I'm happy with this choice.

Color me absolutely DELIGHTED that this sublime song is his new single; I've always felt that when his voice remains low-key and laid-back a la the career-defining (for me) 'Night Train was back in 2013, the result is a superb piece of music. A major upgrade from the absolutely musical trainwreck known as 'We Back', and this gem should have no problem in reaching #1 IMHO sometime this summer.

I’m not sure why radio isn’t really latching on to this one... it’s not like it has to compete with any recurrent play for “We Back” lol. This might be a pretty lengthy climb for Jason if it doesn’t pick up the pace a bit.

Slow start for this one just shows how little radio (and listeners) cared for “We Back”. Jason doesn’t haven’t a lot of momentum right now, but I have no doubt this song will eventually take off. Might not be until week 10 or 15 or so, but I see this one being a machine is listener testing scores.

Enters the Mediabase Top 30 at #30 with a bullet of 169 and this song also managed to gain 619k in audience.
This song does not seem to be in any immediate danger, and is selling very well (#50 all genre) but I think the labels insistence on keeping and propping up "We Back" drained some of the momentum from this era and this single specifically.

This one's had a frustratingly slow start (almost certainly due to BBR forcing the non-starter "We Back" much farther up the charts than it deserved to go), but it seems to be finally taking off, and the sales and streams are extremely strong here. I could see this being almost as big as "You Make It Easy" and "Drowns The Whiskey" when everything's said and done.

Wow, this one is #4 on the iTunes all-genre chart with top 20 airplay...
This took a little longer to take off than most Aldean singles but this should get to #1 and be one of Jason’s best-selling singles in the last few years.

It's crazy the stark night-and-day contrast in consumer response to this one versus "We Back."

I prefer a much more subdued single from Jason Aldean, like this or "You Make It Easy", or even "Drowns the Whiskey". It seems like the public also agrees with that for the most part based on their response to those singles versus "We Back" or other recent loud Aldean songs.

When in doubt, show off your love to your significant other in your music video. Works for Blake Shelton and now for Jason Aldean.

It seems his logic for pushing singles like "We Back" is more for his live shows than anything, so maybe now that touring is on hiatus for everybody he'll stop worrying about that, and pay attention to what the numbers for this one are indicating, which is that this is what the public would prefer to hear from him as you said.

Touring is on hiatus.......for everyone besides Chase Rice and Chris Janson . But in all seriousness, that does make sense... He has soooooo many other upbeat hits that I feel like even a live crowd would rather hear than whatever upbeat crap (and recently, in my opinion, it has been crap) he just recently put out. I mean, does anyone really want to hear "We Back" over "Lights Come On", "My Kinda Party", or anything else? I do understand wanting to promo the current album/era, but I wish his recent output wasn't so hit or miss.

Never doubted this one would be a huge hit. It always stood out as the best song on the album and it’s super easy to relate to. Not sure if I see any other songs on the album impacting at this same level though, o they should milk this one for what’s its worth. I could see “Blame It On You” maybe being another big hit.
Agreed with others though, overall, I much prefer Jason’s mid tempo hits over the upbeat rockers. I know he likes to open shows with something new and loud, but “We Back” couldn’t even live up to those lower standards.

Just hit #1 on the iTunes all-genre chart and it's streaming really well on top of it's recent jump in airplay. Like some of y'all mentioned, I too have preferred a "low-key" sound from Aldean when I have listened to him("Big Green", "You Make It Easy", "Drowns the Whiskey"). Fans seem to dig this style too, and it just might be his biggest hit since YMIE.

For some reason this one is really connecting with me even though I’m not really a Jason Aldean fan except for his earlier stuff.

What does everybody want to see for the next single? I really love “Champagne Town” and “Blame It On You”, with the chorus being a pure ear worm on both. Their very similar songs, so either works for me. “Keeping It Small Town” and “Some Things You Don’t Forget” are good options as well.
