These aren't the best albums per say but these seem to be the defining albums of the year so far, either due to commercial performance or critical reception (aka predictions for what could be nominated for AOTY at the Grammys):
Bad Bunny - YHLQMDLG Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia Fiona Apple - Fetch the Bolt Cutters Laura Marling - Song for Our Daughter Lil Uzi Vert - Eternal Atake Mac Miller - Circles Rina Sawayama - SAWAYAMA Roddy Ricch - Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial (I know it came out in late December last year but it seems more 2020 than 2019) The Weeknd - After Hours Yvez Tumor - Heaven to a Tortured Mind

Eternal Atake After Hours Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon I'm surprised you don't have The Rarities as one of your faves for 2020. I mean it is more of a compilation of previously unreleased tracks rather than a full fledged uniform album

So far, in order of release... Mandy Moore - Silver LandingsThe Weeknd - After HoursDua Lipa - Future NostalgiaCarly Rae Jepsen - Dedicated Side BJessie Ware - What's Your Pleasure? The 1975 - Notes On A Conditional FormMariah Carey - The Rarities ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Carrie Underwood - The GiftKylie Minogue - DiscoI also liked a good chunk of Gaga's Chromatica, Toni's Spell My Name, Katy's Smile and Alicia's ALICIA. Harry Styles' Fine Line should be in there too, because although released in 2019, I listened to it this year. Great, consistent album.
