I dislike Nav as much as the next guy, but y'all must not have listened to the song. It's not that bad and Gunna and Travis killed it imo. Yeah honestly the production is on point and Nav sounds better than usually, it's more to due the fact that Nav is a meme at this point than the actually quality of the song.

I hope βBelieve Itβ debuts in the Top 10, or climbs there.
Its airplay/spins on Urban and Rhythmic radio thus far is incredible (itβs being sent to Pop next week), despite not being sent for official adds yet, and the song is stable at #2 on AM. Should that remain, and it remains stable on Spotify throughout the week (with larger playlisting) and with strong airplay it could possibly do it.
I need Rihanna to score her 32nd T10 hit, and Travis Scott to score his 5th. π°
Her and Drake (inevitably) are definitely crossing the 40+ T10 Hot 100 barrier this decade; sheβll potentially be over 35 with this and the #R9 singles. Weβll see.

BYH and DSN are the two American singles, with Physical being promo here and a full single overseas where sheβs bigger.

Decreasing in radio, still a huge streaming gap between The Box , and BL. Can DSN go back to #2?

Nav is awful but donβt underestimate Gunna. Gunna is one of the best, most powerful artists in hip hop right now. Gunna will run 2020.

Imagine in a long shot that the nav song goes to #1 followed by believe it. That would automatically make 2020 the most interesting year ever

If we give NAV a f**king hit, I swear to god... I predict that Turks will perform similarly to The London and ZEZE, but I don't think it will be as successful as either.

Random Question but what's the longest amount of time there was a black artist at #1? I think it was with God's Plan, Nice for What, This is America, and Psycho (including Ty Dolla Sign as a feature). or 2002 with all that Ja Rule and Nelly music lmao

Yeah, I've given up on it too, I don't think they're trying that hard, seems they're moving on to BMH Is βBYHβ Lipaβs second official U.S single after βDSNβ? Or is it her third, official, international single after βPhysicalβ? While Physical had a video and such, it was never sent to US radio, so I guess it's an international single, but BMH is the 2nd official U.S. single

Every artist that topped the chart that year was βBlackβ and African-American in particular. The highest peaking (White) non-Black artist/s that year was: β’ Hoobastank: The Reason (#2) β’ Nelly ft. Tim McGraw: Over and Over (#3) β’ Clay Aiken: Solitaire (#4) The longest time a βsingularβ Black artist has spent at number one in a calendar year is Drake, in 2018, with 29 weeks as well as Usher, in 2004, with 28 weeks. Black artists also spent 46 weeks at number one in 2003 (featured artists included) which would follow 2004 in second place. The remaining 6 weeks were taken by Eminem and Clay Aiken.

On my second listen of Future Nostalgia. I'm not in love with the album as so many other people are. It's pretty good but it's not the mindblowing pop masterpiece people are making it good to be. Love Again is an amazing song though and I really hope she pushes it as a single or shoots a music video for it, and I hope Break My Heart becomes a Top 10 hit. Totally agree. Last year, TYN was betterπ

Going by calendar year, 2004 is the only year where all the #1 songs were by black artists, as someone else mentioned.

Dua could've competed for #1 if they kept DSN stable on radio and discounted the song.

I'm afraid "Don't Start Now" will join "Bad Romance", "Get Lucky", and "Counting Stars" as incredible songs that were blocked from #1. π I wasn't expecting the sudden drop for airplay, and the streaming is just not there.
I hope to be proven wrong, though, and whatever happens, I at least hope it gets good longevity like "New Rules" did.

I don't think we should count out DSN just yet if it doesn't reach number one this week. It's got a strangehold on radio that I can see it still going to number one if everything else weakens.
Psycho didn't go to number one the week bb&B impacted that charts but it had enough streaming and airplay to get there a few weeks later.

Oh wow at DSN going top 10 on Apple Music. Perhaps it could battle for #1 now.
She needs to release CD/Casette/Vinyl singles with autographs.
