I don't mind the dua fan talk in this thread (the album is good) it's technically her week anyways just as the 04/04 forum was After Hours week and I didn't see people complain about "oh if you want to talk about The Weeknd go to the artist forum".

With pre-releases, "Future Nostalgia" should be around 250-300K in total activity...that's up to 80,000 pure sales debut, hoping the streams will give her 100K+ debut. Does she have bundles? 80k pure seems like a big stretch |

Murder Most Foul charting would be insane... longest song to ever hit the hot 100 and Bob Dylan's first chart entry since I believe 1984? I haven't even heard it yet but it'd be an event for sure

Lipa needed to discount DSN on iTunes, and she didnβt. I donβt think number one is possible.
Itβd be sick for Dylan to chart with such a long song, thought digital sales are pretty weak and I doubt heβll have the streaming support to get there

Even if Dua doesn't get the number one spot, I hope that Future Nostalgia produces at least one more long lasting top 10 hit (preferably Break My Heart cause of the INXS sample ;) ). I would think that even if streaming is low that radio would eat up the singles from her album, and I bet she'll have multiple top tens on the radio chart for this album cycle. I could see the album performing like the Jonas Brother's recent album, except the songs are much better. Hopefully this means that any follow up singles from Future Nostalgia could outperform songs like Cool and Only Human.

That version of Donna Summer's cover of "MacArthur Park" was not the one that charted to #1 on the Hot 100 in 1978. The one that charted was an edited version that was just under 4 minutes long. |
