Hey hey hey, guess what? I’ve been listening to more new music this year than any other year, and I have to say that I love what I’ve been hearing, from indie rock and infectious pop to the world of awesome rap that I just now discovered. This little RD I’ve been planning out encompasses some of the best releases of the beginning of the year. Some of these songs just came out at the time of writing this. Some of them were on an album in 2019 and got popular in 2020. Doesn’t matter, they’re the best examples of each different niche of music in 2020 in my opinion. There are 32 songs in total, rank them 1-32, or best to worst. Number your list if you want. Submissions are going to close and these songs are getting ranked on May 2nd no matter what happens.

I look forward to your participation as well jaden. I’ll probably do a masstag on the 5th with subsequent ones every Sunday (you can opt out of these but still participate) and have reveals on the 3rd with me finishing compiling the data together on the 2nd.

I have my eye on this list but i'm not participating until I can trust you'll actually reveal lol I really haven’t been good with that on my rankdowns, but I can assure that I don’t intend to waste anyone’s time here. I think the problem is I didn’t have enough songs people actually know/liked, and back then I really didn’t know how to work the website to make a more impressive post. I didn’t want to let people down with a boring RD, but now I think I’m ready. I can assure that these 32 songs will be ranked, and I’m on top of my game. In fact, let me give you guys some facts about where we’re at with placements. The top 2 songs are both of the same genre and are both in the top 10 of a chart currently. One might say they are very similar in style. The bottom 3 songs are all of different genres, one is at #10 right now in a genre chart. One is a song with three artists. The other features someone who has had a #1 hit in the UK. |

The last list did nothing but solidify the current ranks. #31 is only slightly ahead of #32, #1 and #2 are neck and neck. Hopefully my clues aren’t too revealing.
