Not bad. Rivers voice fits in well in this song. I feel like I could either really like this song after some more listens or get sick of it really quick. Time will tell.

This is fine. Probably won't do much despite the Rivers feature - this is doing a bit better on AAA due to the Avalanches name.

The middle part of this song - the bridge that Pink Sifu raps - is taken from "Darkness and Cold", a song from Purple Mountains' self-titled album, which came out last year. It's a very nice little tribute to that band's leader, David Berman, who died shortly after that album's release and who once collaborated with the Avalanches. Berman was best known as the singer-songwriter behind the Silver Jews, a very beloved indie rock band that disbanded about a decade ago.
As for this song, I quite like it. I'm not sure how they got from "Frontier Psychiatrist" to this Tame Impala-esque psychedelic pop-rock in 20 years, but this style surprisingly suits The Avalanches very well. Might be my favorite thing they've done since they've come back.
