Ruthie Collins released her second album yesterday, Cold Comfort. I really like You Can't Remember and Wish You Were Here. Also, I love the production on Little Girl, but I wish the verses were a bit more descriptive.

What a fantastic album! Going to take a few listens to figure my favorites but this album feels like she's found her sweet spot. Her debut was great but this feels like it plays much more to her strengths as a vocalist and songwriter. The production is stellar here and as usual I can't get enough of her voice.
"Untold" stands out to me on my 3rd listen, will need more time with it but nothing is weak here I hope more of you check her out!

I’ve been coming back around to this album quite a bit which I think is a good sign...she also has a very interesting voice which I find that I’m warming up to as well. As good as songs like “Bad Woman” are it is “Dang Dallas” that keeps me wanting to put this one on repeat. “Wish You Were Here” is another highlight and nothing spells more country than the lyric ”I wish you were here...and you wish I was her”.
All in all this is fast becoming one of my favorite releases of the year!

Deluxe version known as Cold Comfort+ was released today (can't wait for this trend to be over, hopefully)
