You can only choose one.
I vote for Love Takes Time because it holds very special memories to me.

"Outside" is the best, but nostalgia makes "Thank God I Found You" my favorite.

"Higher, Jesus!" is something I've pleaded for multiple times throughout this quarantine

I could give this to "The Wind," "Outside," or "Fly Like A Bird".. depends on the day. I voted for "Outside".

My top 3:
01. Looking In (trend setter) 02. Fly Like a Bird (dedicating the comeback to the Lord) 03. The Wind (a Jazz number to close out a Quiet Storm record? Epic.)

"Outside" gets my vote because I relate to it so, so much, but there are a lot of strong songs here.
2. "Looking In" 3. "Fly Like a Bird" 4. "The Wind" 5. "Love Takes Time"
"Portrait" just misses my top 5.

"Love Takes Time" is my favorite Mariah Carey song but I definitely wouldn't vote it as my favorite MC album closer. "Portrait" is a pretty good closer, but "Fly Like A Bird" is perfection and it just works; leaves you on a spiritual high!

Same here! It's one of the first music videos I remember seeing as a child. It would play at nights after the local news.

On their own, "Love Takes Time" or "Fly Like a Bird" would win for me.
In terms of how it fits the album and its impact, I vote "Looking In." It's the stark reality of the 'daydreams' that preceded it, even though it's written as a kind of daydream itself.

Fly Like a Bird was the heroin boost my spirit needed then and now. A true statement piece after she was dragged for years.

"Outside" is some of the finest songwriting of her career. She captures that misfit feeling perfectly, with an incredible vocal build to boot.

I pick I Want To Know What Love Is even though All I've Ever Wanted, Fly Like A Bird, and I Wish You Well are close seconds.
