"I Like It" is a song recorded by rapper Cardi B with Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and Colombian singer J Balvin for her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy (2018).
The single topped the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Cardi B's second number one, the most for a female rapper in the chart's history, and the first for both Bad Bunny and J Balvin. It also reached the top 10 in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Billboard staff, Los Angeles Times, and Apple Music's editorial selection ranked it as the best song of the year. The single was nominated for Record of the Year at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. It became the first song led by a female rapper to surpass a billion streams on Spotify, also making her the first woman in hip hop with a pair of billion-streamers on the service. "I Like It" is the highest-ranked song led by a female rapper on the Billboard Hot 100 decade-end chart for the 2010s. It was certified octuple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2019.

This took me a long time to like, but it still is just an average song for me.

As soon as I heard this I knew it would be a hit, I never thought it would be a big as it was though. My favourite single from IOP. It charted for 51 weeks, I can't remember what album bomb knocked it out (Post maybe?) but goddam whoever it was. This is excellent, I still play it often.

One of those moments where I completely get why it was a single (obviously they made a good decision), but it was one of the worst songs on the album IMO. The whole thing just felt cheap and clunky to me.

I love this song! One of my favorite Cardi. This song, along with NTLTC and One Kiss defined summer 2018 for me. I love when Cardi releases something more Latin leaning and that chorus is catchy af.

The fourth single from rapper Cardi B's first studio album Invasion of Privacy released in April 2018, it features Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and Colombian reggaeton artist J Balvin. The song was a massive hit, debuting at #8 in the US and eventually peaking at #1, becoming the first #1 for Bad Bunny and J Balvin while also becoming Cardi B's second following 2017's Bodak Yellow. It gave her the honor of being the first female rapper to obtain 2 #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. It was the 7th best-performing single of 2018 in the country.

FYI, there was a request to move your post into this thread since there was already a thread for the song.
