Love this one from Luke. A big fun summer song that is already shaping up to be a huge hit for him. Stinks they pushed the album back, but at least we have this song to bridge the gap.

This is actually the best one I've heard all era from him. I can't stand "Knockin' Boots," I loved "What She Wants Tonight" at first but that very quickly changed, and the title track is just okay to me. This one's nothing groundbreaking but it's yet another summer bop from him and I quite like it. I can see this one shooting right up to #1 and I can see myself revisiting this one during the summertime.

This does have a bit better replay value than anything we've heard from him recently. Easy to throw on at a party and get everyone excited (and probably drunk). Could be one of his biggest hits for that very reason.

I like this a fair bit. I did enjoy "Knockin' Boots" a lot, and I like this one a fair bit more than "What She Wants Tonight".
I really hope that people can get back together before this song's chart run is over!

What a surprise... 43 year old Luke Bryan is still on spring break. I agree!!! And imagine Carrie Underwood singing about drinking alone when she has a husband! Or George Strait, who is pushing 70, still signing about honky tonk bars! And let's not forget Dustin Lynch! Signing about burning a whole town down when he hasn't even burned a single house or car yet! It's ridiculous!!!!

You’re highlighting though the exact double standards in country music women face though. During Southbound’s release I heard multiple radio commentators in Canada say it felt childish that a 37 year old mother of two is singing about ‘partying and going southbound’, and there has been the exact same rhetoric for Drinking Alone where there has been commentary about why she shouldn’t be singing songs like that... Yet when artist like Luke, who’s in his 40s, release another song similar in topic it’s hailed as a good party song. Luke has always released pleasantly safe music that is radio friendly there’s no denial, but I don’t think it’s wrong for bringing some of the same criticism to males for releasing similar song topics that female artists get criticized for.

And I would have said the same thing if people said that about Carrie's song in her thread. There is a huge double standard for women in country music. But the big chunk of it is that they're not played enough - not that men can get away with a certain type of song. ** With that said, it all plays in to it, but the main thing is, WOMEN AREN'T PLAYED ENOUGH. Edit: Also, look at Carrie's thread. I think a majority loved the song and unless my memory is wrong, I don't remember much of people mentioning her age/type of song. I can't comment on what other people say in other platforms. Can only speak for what people say in the threads on Pulse.

Officially at country radio today. Impact date is next week, although 20 or so stations have already added it.
Writers are Michael Carter, Matt Dragstrem and Josh Thompson. No covert art -- just the standard UMG single cover.

So he’s postponing the album for what reason? There’s about less than a 2% chance any concerts (especially his size) will be held in 2020. At this point all the artists are screwed.

I think he just wants to wait till retail CD stores have enough physical stocks of the album because don't most country album sales rely on physical sales? Plus I don't think he's doing great at pre-orders right now so there's a possibly it will do less than Sam Hunt's numbers on charts if the original plan is kept.

Officially enters the Mediabase Top 50 at #44. Definitely look for this song to be a smash this summer especially given the sales out of the gate (#50 all genre), and I can't get enough of that chorus melody. Yes this song is no lyrical masterpiece but for a summer song of escapism this works very well.

Still early, but this one is shaping up to be Luke’s biggest hit since maybe “Play It Again”? Top 20 on iTunes and radio already propelling this one up quickly. This one just seems to be connecting in a big way for Luke.

I´d rather this one than "What She Wants Tonight" or "Knockin Boots".I think the music video is cool and also his mother having fun on it.

Is Luke going somewhat viral with this- or were the TikToks on his IG stories just his fans?
I noticed it’s up to #12 all genre too.

If his song is being played on TikTok, where mainly all of Generation Z (the ones born about 2002-06 and later--in other words, teenagers) reside...I think it's pretty safe to say he's going viral.

I always considered Generation Z 1995 as the starting point from what I heard I wish there was a chart that had a set list of starting points because I saw once that 2000 was towards the end of the Millennials generation...I was born in 2000 and I've always considered myself a Millennial but wish I could know for sure.

I think you may be confusing Tiktok with user-generated videos with the song on Youtube. The videos may come from Tiktok, but they are uploaded on Youtube so they were counted as part of Youtube numbers. The past tense means it is not counted as streaming numbers now.

I can't place what it is exactly about this song, but I hate... everything about it, lol. I cannot tolerate hearing this on the radio at all, just like its predecessor. "Knockin' Boots" was miles better than the two singles that followed, though still on the mediocre side and got old fast, but this album era is shaping up to be a hard and fast pass from me. I'm not a big Luke Bryan fan by any stretch, but he's usually reliable enough to deliver 1-2 singles an era that I find myself rooting for, but he's batting a 0/3 this time around.

I don't hate this one but it's such a nothing of a song. I will say the production on his vocal is really noticeably bad to me.

As the tiki torch shots and years pass on by I still find it hard to believe that Luke Bryan has gone on to become of the biggest names in the genre. I have nothing to add or any good words to say about him, so pass.
Seriously, what is someone like him going to have to offer to the genre ten years from now?
