Thousands. He's released 60-90+ bundles every week since the week Heartless dropped back in November. Do the math.

and it was always different shirts/hoodies/accessories with different designs.

based on Facebook posts for these merch bundles it was 10 items + 16 items + 15 items + 18 items + 8 items for the dates respectively

Today he released merch for blinding Lights.

As for what happened before April 3rd idk, but he was doing heavy merch bundles before the album dropped. for example 24 March - 25 items, 25 March - 24 items . . .

Not quite yet in my book. One thing that Travis did manage to do and The Weeknd hasn't is to make new merch bundles available for the week that started with Black Friday on 2018 to allow Astroworld to return to #1 in the Billboard 200 and edge Dummy Boy. If The Weeknd manages to do just that for After Hours after it has fallen from #1, I will definitely agree he deserves the title.

It's still cool that The Weeknd has released CD singles for the first 2 singles. Most artists probably haven't done that since the late '90s/early '00s.

I usually like to buy a shirt or sweatshirt whenever one of my favs drop merch like this, but his didn't interest me much - although I will say I wasn't checking everyday for the new drops because there were so many, lol. I did end up buying one of the posters because they were pretty cool.

also since 2015, the top 3 artists with most #1s are Canadian (Drake, JB, Weeknd) with 5 each. this is probably Canada's most dominant era on the charts right?

15 number ones in total out of the 3 artists since 2015. toosie slide could make that 16. Drake’s feature on Rihanna’s whats my name will make that 17. Shawn Mendes is canadian so Senorita will make that 18. What is the last one though? And of course, it would’ve been 20 canadian #1 hits if drake counted on sicko mode

On the Hot 100, yes.

On the BB200, however, the 1996-1998 era of Alanis Morrisette (‘Jagged Little Pill’), Celine Dion (‘Falling Into You’) and Shania Twain (‘Come On Over’) was simply extraordinary.

All three albums have sold over 11M+ pure sales in the U.S and are three of the top ten biggest Female albums ever in the U.S also.

All three are Canadian.
