While I was hoping for something more, it’s a good song. It may grow on me more, but as of now I prefer “Born To Die”.... 😂

This is so cool. I personally love the song and the project. Her french is actually pretty good. I’m impressed.

My thoughts on "I Dare You"...
I'm whelmed by it. Not overwhelmed, not underwhelmed. Just whelmed. It's not a "bad" song by any means...but it's also far from the best thing she's ever recorded. It reminds me of "Would You Call That Love" off Meaning of Life. I do agree it's a rehash of songs she has done in the past.
However, I LOVE the international strategy here. How has she been doing outside the US as of late? I know Breakaway was huge outside the US...but how have her other albums done in general?
I'm starting to wonder if this might be a one off single and not the lead single to an album. Perhaps it's part of a strategy to reintroduce her to the international landscape. If that's the case, I think it's a good strategy.

The song is really beautiful and the timing is great. If it's part of her next album, this is a perfect way to introduce it and release a stronger single after the global lockdown.
I can judge on two other versions. The Spanish version is pretty good. The pronounciation is mostly on point. The German version tho... wow. I could've done a better job teaching her how to read and pronounce it. Without the lyrics for Kelly's part I wouldn't understand anything.

If that's the case, I think it's a good strategy. She confirmed it was a one-off in one of her interviews this morning and she's working on her next album concurrently (though I imagine if this does even remotely anything they'll tack it on at least as a bonus track). It was originally going to be a promo single for her Vegas residency, and now it's just pivoting to COVID cure.

The singles from all I ever wanted and stronger did well worldwide. However the greatest hits singles didn’t find a worldwide audience Worldwide the meaning of life era did nothing. Heartbeat song was her last worldwide hit. Underneath the tree has done well. Australia is pretty receptive to her

I love her vocal on this but the song overall in not that special. I do love the concept and especially think the multi languages really paid off for her! I just wish the song itself was better, the production is really really basic.

How does she look 10 years younger in these quarantine videos with minimal makeup than she does on her own high-budget talk show?

How does she look 10 years younger in these quarantine videos with minimal makeup than she does on her own high-budget talk show? MTE!! One of my friends I sent one of these videos to totally stated that she looked like she'd lost weight. I, of course, replied, "Really that's what you respond with?!"...but it's truly accurate.

K. Am I going blind or is there a thread for I Dare You, the single? Or we speaking about it here?

I can't pretend that I'm not super disappointed in this. And maybe that's on me....I thought this was a 1st single for a new album versus stand-alone single to kick off Vegas. I just really fucking hate overtly self-empowerment type songs, and I don't want her to become the Martina McBride of Pop / HAC. Amazing voice but everything is a kumbaya. I need angsty Kelly back.

How does she look 10 years younger in these quarantine videos with minimal makeup than she does on her own high-budget talk show? I mentioned earlier that she looked like she was 20! She definitely looks thinner in the face. I know a lot of people who have lost weight with this quarantine because they are not eating out all the time and don’t enjoy drinking at home as much as socially drinking. For some it is the opposite but for Kelly, being on a ranch might mean a lot of activity and she said she has to cook everything.

I enjoy it! I love me some pop Kelly and am grateful to hear her return. It is very PBP to my ear and I am not mad abt that. I hope the next album continues in this direction. I also hope it has some stronger material - the song itself is a bit B+ for me, so I hope she can find a few home runs.
The vocals are amazing though!

#1 on iTunes and the singles album #2 ain’t too shabby. While iTunes is far from the digital leader that it used to be, it’s still impressive that Kelly is leading.
The song is cute! Almost like Heart Beat Song, it’s a lovely song but I’m not moved to tears like I was when I first heard Move You. Very Broken and Beautiful meets Heartbeat Song, but I actually prefer this most. It does sound super radio friendly, and would be nice to see her get some traction on CHR again.

Yea I lost 10 pounds in quarantine by cooking at home and walking for about an hour a day so it doesn't surprise me either!

I wish they were using this to raise money for something since it’s not the actual first single from a new album.

I hate to say it but I Dare You is pretty abysmal, I don't know what she sees in this that is so special. I had my expectations low for it and expected something that could have fit on P!nk's last few albums, for better or worse, but this isn't even exciting at all, it is so painfully by the numbers. She has to stop recording these random songs and start writing her own music again, the more she keeps on with these generic songs, the more she is losing me. Hell, even Broken and Beautiful is leagues above this, I'll go back to that song any day.
Of course I give her props for putting so much time into recording the song in other languages and trying to make it more meaningful, it would be nice if she put the effort into a song that was worthy of so much attention though. I hope it can connect on Hot AC and reach her core audience.

I just heard "I Dare You" and while I'm not big on it upon first listen, I just KNOW it's gonna grow on me. Her vocals are just incredible. I'm sad this is just a one-off BUT I am excited that she's currently working on Album 9! Hoping the album continues the MOL sound as that's the sound she'd always wanted. Although, she can knock the hell out of any genre so...
To answer the thing about TKCS...it's an NBC production, and I don't know about other networks airing it. But my local NBC station is an Indy affiliate and that's where she gets aired here. Maybe it's just on NBC? idk

It's an okay song. Lyrically, it's not anything special. Honestly if it weren't for Kelly's vocals the English song wouldn't be what it is. The production didn't need the drums/percussion at all. They sound very dated.
Moving onto what makes this project once in a lifetime I LOVE LOVE LOVE hearing Kelly sing in multiple languages so gorgeously. It's remarkable that she did it and sounds as great as it does. That alone is worthy of praise.
I do wish this hard work & dedication was put towards a remarkable song instead of this. Still a really good effort overall.

I completely agree... i mean, at least P!nk writes her own cheesy songs We know Kelly can write good songs (anything on MD is light years ahead of this) and I personally connect to the songs she writes I understand the marketing of this whole song is to appeal to the GP with a message than anyone can relate... and i hope it works and its a big hit for her But I also hope she doesnt give up on writing songs Songs like PBP and Tightrope are proof she's still got it as a songwriter

I like it, it's cute, but I'm also very happy it's not the lead. Definitely echo the "similar to Piece by Piece" statements. It could be track seven on the album and not feel out of place.
