It's funny how "Love Me Like You Do" was such a huge moment and seemed to signal even bigger things to come, but instead she has slowly moved in the wrong direction ever since.

Everything seems to have gone wrong with this era for her.
I feel like the lack of promotion for this is probably a financial issue. After all, they've thrown a lot of money to promote a string of singles, with at least 3 of them getting big-budget video, feature, and worldwide radio push. With the lack of any sign of a blockbuster success for this era, I feel like Polydor's only plan is to drop the album and move on.

It's literally her best single in forever This sentence is painful to read. The recent Ellie songs her fans loved are this one & "Flux", which both appear on Side A. All of the radio singles appear on Side B ( EG.0). It seems that the songs that get the most positive reception are the ones that she has complete creative control over (hell, she didn't even write "Hate Me").

Flux was a very gorgeous song too, was it actually a single though?
Sixteen was a pretty solid pop bop
Hate Me, Worry About Me, and Close To Me could have been any pop girl's track, all 3 are so faceless for Ellie and sadly were the focal points out of her single releases in the last like 2 years
