I love it, short yet impactful. She looks great as well, digging the costumes.
All three videos are a slay for me, but this is probably my favorite.

Like I said in the album thread, I think this is a good video, and I speculate she'll serve a visual for "Sine From Above" next or down the line with how that video ended.

Cool visuals I guess, but the ending was kind of tacky and her acting was painful (I thought she was bad in ASIB too, so might just be me). The LG ad in the middle of her crying was funny tho.

The video is super pretty visually, but I was confused all throughout the first watching and couldn't figure out what it was about. Not sure if this approach or the doing weird stuff in a straightforward was is the right path, but I sure as hell prefer this to SL. Now Rain On Me was more eventful?? intense??, can't really find the exact word for it. Also, I'm happy about that likely SFA video as well, hope it's not low-budget.

As someone who loves symbolism, this is going to be one that I rewatch all the time to catch all the little bits. I could write a whole dissertation on this one music video alone.

this is like Gaga's first music video to have a distinct, clear storyline since... Born This Way era, right? big brain energy in this one. love love love it.
music video was directed by Tarsem Singh, the filmmaker behind The Fall (2006), an all-time favorite of mine.

Even his Snow White film had killer visuals in spite of being otherwise terrible. It's his trademark.

It's his trademark. yup, The Fall didn't get a ton of love either because the plot is a bit messy but the locations & shots he used were phenomenal also re: your comment about being "bored until the end made it all come together" β I feel like that's what kind of kept me engaged on my first watch. I was like "what the f**k is happening right now" the whole time, trying to understand the messaging, and the ending really came and said "there's your message, hoe!"

Yeah I was like wtf is she trying to do. It reminded me a bit of the Alejandro video (which is the point when she started to lose me as a fulltime stan because it felt like she was being weird for the sake of being weird).
But the ending really sold me on it.

The ending really wrapped the video up because up until then, everything felt kind of random but I knew something was going on because (and this might sound annoying to say), Gaga doesn't really do random - whether something is executed well or not is the other story but everything she does has some point to it.
The thing I kept noticing throughout the video was that everything seemed rather... low budget? As if there was high-budget ideas but everything seemed to be done without any effects or CGI or anything like that. I wonder if it was because of budget restraints, pandemic restraints or if it was on purpose?

Gagaβs best video in a very long time. Bravo ππΌ
This felt like classic Gaga from the Artpop/Born This Way eras.

Finally, she's back with wild energies and creativity. "Stupid Love" and "Rain on Me" may look incredibly expensive but this is the video of this era.

Okay, now Iβm under the impression the βlow budgetβ feel I mentioned before was on purpose - under the assumption it was done like that because of the Color of Pomegranates film?

911 probably is this era's John Wayne, I don't think its getting a single push
Even though both this and John Wayne should just to capitalize off the buzz of there respective videos

Wow. I was expecting this video to be good, but it was PHENOMENAL. My mind is blown. I wish I was still in film class so we could dissect this in a discussion. Suuuper clever and detailed, and great acting from Gaga & the 2 paramedics.
