At least we got a quality drake project (i donβt know if this is an album, mixtape, compilation, etc). Does that mean toosie slide was a lead single then? or it canβt be because about 5 leaked songs before it got onto the project It's a mixtape. Like with NBA Youngboy, I think the GP don't really know which Drake album is "mixtape" and which is a "real album". Toosie Slide got all the promo a song can possibly get and it's from his demo mixtape.
Also, in the UK, More Life opened with bigger sales than some of his "proper albums".

It's just been extremely popular around the world (not so much in the U.S.) for a couple years now, and has always lingered near the top, sort of a Gangnam Style situation. I'm thinking lack of competition is why it's currently at the top, though I also noticed that starting in late 2019, way before the pandemic, it started to receive significant boosts, so not quite sure what drove that. |

It's just been extremely popular around the world (not so much in the U.S.) for a couple years now, and has always lingered near the top, sort of a Gangnam Style situation. I'm thinking lack of competition is why it's currently at the top, though I also noticed that starting in late 2019, way before the pandemic, it started to receive significant boosts, so not quite sure what drove that. It actually hit the Top 40 in the US, which I'm pretty surprised. But yeah, I guess it's in a similar boat as "Crazy Frog" or that Gummy Bear song. |

It's not black and white... Circles is still #6 on radio after all this time, so it's fair to say that airplay is keeping it in top ten. If it was top 20 -ish on airplay like it's on Spotify, it'd seem more "fair" to us on Pulse.

I agree that Righteous should be above Circles this week, but the main problem here is Adore You. It's 30M streams vs. 10M streams and only 1% of Righteous streams are coming from programmed services vs. 10% programmed streams for Adore You. It's still possible that Righteous is #10, #9, or maybe even #8 on the Hot 100, but a song that's so huge on streaming should be going top 10 more easily.
