No Tears Left To Cry is only 2 years old but this song already seems forgotten, completely overshadowed by Thank u, next and 7 rings.

I wonder what #1 hit from the 2010s has the fewest streams on Spotify, or the lowest streaming numbers per week nowadays.

I wonder what #1 hit from the 2010s has the fewest streams on Spotify, or the lowest streaming numbers per week nowadays. That is something I could definitely look into on top of the other data from the last page. My immediate guess is "Hold It Against Me."

I feel like many of the songs being listed aren't any more "forgotten" than you'd expect for a 10+ year old song.

No Tears Left To Cry is only 2 years old but this song already seems forgotten, completely overshadowed by Thank u, next and 7 rings. I disagree. NTLTC had its moment, don't see how it was overshadowed by tun and 7 rings. It was her first song since the Manchester Arena bombing, and people will always associate the song with that event and her big comeback. Currently, it's her 3rd most popular song on Spotify (behind 7 rings and TUN) with 400k streams daily, and 4th most popular on YouTube (behind TUN, 7 rings and Side To Side) with 330k views daily. The same case is with iTunes and Apple Music, NTLTC is only behind 7 rings and TUN. I'd say it's one of her signature songs, and definitely one of the fans' favorite songs. but okay, I respect your opinion, this thread is based on our subjective feeling, after all.

So I just check how many streams those songs got daily on average over the last 3 days and damn, pretty weak numbers (232,052 daily) for Look Alive considering it was supposed to be a big hit only 2 years ago. 2016 songs: One Dance: 470,694 (#1 x10 weeks - #3 YE Hot 100) Love Yourself: 436,654 (#1 x2 weeks - #1 YE Hot 100) Ride: 389,671 (#5, #20 YE Hot 100) Cheap Thrills: 362,162 (#1 x4 weeks, #11 YE Hot 100) Pillowtalk: 285,120 (#1, #22 YE Hot 100) This Is What You Came For: 280,491 (#3, #17 YE Hot 100) Dangerous Woman: 224,548 (#8, #36 YE Hot 100) Cold Water: 217,536 (#2, #25 YE Hot 100) Just Like Fire: 82,143 (#10, #33 YE Hot 100) Panda - you recorded the wrong # of streams Ride is doing pretty well considering it wasn't the biggest hit, same with Dangerous Woman. Just Like Fire easily takes the cake out of these although Cold Water is fairly underwhelming considering it was a pretty big hit especially worldwide. For it to be doing barely 200k daily when it has over 1.1 billion Spotify streams means it slowed down a lot.

2015 songs
7 Years: 382,086 (#2, #12 YE Hot 100) FourFiveSeconds: 306,739 (#4, #42 YE Hot 100) Send My Love: 245,532 (#8, #26 YE Hot 100) Lush Life: 236,568 (#75) My House: 211,829 (#4, #14 YE Hot 100) How Deep Is Your Love: 189,777 (#27, #100 YE Hot 100) Bad Blood (remix included): 183,312 (#1, #15 YE Hot 100)
I realize Lush Life and How Deep Is Your Love were more European based hits, so looking at Hot 100 performance is not the best indicator. Bad Blood and My House don't have the best longevity here but not truly forgotten for now, and I suspect there are several big hits from 2015 with worse longevity, you guys just haven't brought them up... FourFiveSeconds and Send My Love are doing quite fine considering they weren't huge hits.

2014 songs
Shut Up + Dance: 365,203 (#4, #6 YE Hot 100) Earned It: 360,380 (#3, #9 YE Hot 100) Rude: 321,802 (#1 x6 weeks, #7 YE Hot 100) Bang Bang: 300,789 (#3, #27 YE Hot 100) Cheerleader: 299,806 (#1 x6 weeks, #11 YE Hot 100) Me and My Broken Heart: 208,646 (#14, #70 YE Hot 100) Problem: 159,983 (#2, #9 YE Hot 100) Locked Away: 156,619 (#6, #40 YE Hot 100). Black Widow: 108,637 (#3, #26 YE Hot 100) Can't Remember To Forget You: 64,045 (#15, #85 YE Hot 100)
Problem and Black Widow are looking pretty forgotten considering they were pretty big hits. Can't Remember To Forget You is pretty forgotten... but wasn't really a major hit. Me and My Broken Heart is doing pretty well considering it wasn't that big of a hit. Rude's performance is a bit underwhelming, same with Locked Away's.

2013 - ok now we're talking...
Just Give Me A Reason: 344,077 (#1 x3 weeks, #7 YE Hot 100) Mirrors: 206,210 (#2, #6 YE Hot 100) The Monster: 179,260 (#1 x4 weeks, #16 YE 100) Blurred Lines: 173,311 (#1 x12 weeks, #2 YE Hot 100) Am I Wrong: 146,380 (#4, #14 YE Hot 100) Burn: 145,891 (#13, #39 YE Hot 100) La La La: 110,107 (#19, #82 YE Hot 100) Cool Kids: 81,812 (#13, #59 YE Hot 100) Suit & Tie: 46,440 (#3, #20 YE Hot 100)
Blurred Lines is definitely very underwhelming for how big of a radio hit it was and seems unlikely to be remembered by future generations. Suit & Tie seems straight up forgotten despite being a pretty big hit. Mirrors is doing alright, but only Just Give Me A Reason is truly doing well. The rest have pretty underwhelming recurrent streams.

2012
We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together: 238,777 (#1 x3 weeks, #33 YE Hot 100) Scream & Shout: 163,822 (#3, #23 YE Hot 100) Good Time: 153,882 (#8, #38 YE Hot 100) One More Night: 153,667 (#1 x9 weeks, #18 YE Hot 100) Try: 125,309 (#9, #53 YE Hot 100) Troublemaker: 119,229 (#25, #82 YE Hot 100) Boyfriend: 117,390 (#2, #28 YE Hot 100) Part of Me: 116,324 (#1, #31 YE Hot 100) Beauty and the Beat: 113,318 (#5, #42 YE Hot 100) International Love: 107,457 (#13, #48 YE Hot 100) Wide Awake: 72,440 (#2, #15 YE Hot 100) I Cry: 54,611 (#6, #64 YE Hot 100)
For context, the most streamed female song of 2012 is IKYWT with around 300k/daily, so I'd say WANEGBT is doing quite fine. Try, Troublemaker and Good Time too considering they weren't that big.
One More Night's performance is definitely very underwhelming considering how much it dominated the charts. Wide Awake and I Cry are pretty similar when adjusted for the fact that they were smaller hits, but since they were smaller in the first place, they're kind of forgotten now. Part of Me has better recurrent streams than Wide Awake despite being a somewhat smaller hit (as it should).

2011
Give Me Everything: 300,414 #1, #5 YE Hot 100) Stereo Hearts: 297,788 #4, #36 YE Hot 100 Glad You Came: 211,259 #3, #6 YE Hot 100 S&M: 191,507 #1, #12 YE Hot 100 Born This Way: 186,291 #1 x6 weeks, #18 YE Hot 100 Where Have You Been: 118,918 #5, #21 YE Hot 100 Without You: 118,440 #4, #73 YE Hot 100 Domino: 110,629 #6, #46 YE Hot 100 Just Can't Get Enough: 87,748 #3, #10 YE Hot 100) Till The World Ends: 43,239 #3, #27 YE Hot 100 In The Dark: 13,114 #11, #83 YE Hot 100
Give Me Everything definitely doesn't seem to be forgotten. 300k daily should make it one of the top streamed songs of 2011. It was also a huge hit, but I'd say it's doing about what you'd expect from a huge 9 year old hit. Most of these songs are doing about what you'd expect imo, maybe even a bit better than expected for Stereo Hearts. The exceptions are Just Can't Get Enough, Till The World Ends and In The Dark, those are all holding up quite poorly, even for 9 year old songs.

In The Dark: 13,114 #11, #83 YE Hot 100 I think we've found it, a major 2010s hit that has been completely and utterly forgotten. I for one have never heard it, although that will change once I listen to the 2011 Year-End list at some point in the near future.

2010
Dynamite: 320,730 #2, #9 YE Hot 100 Airplanes: 223,878 #2, #6 YE Hot 100 Like a G6: 185,141 #1 x3 weeks, #37 YE Hot 100 Only Girl: 183,339 #1, #40 YE Hot 100 Memories: 149,347 #46, N/A YE Hot 100 Just A Dream: 133,714 #3, #35 YE Hot 100 We R Who We R: 99,067 #1, #30 YE Hot 100 OMG: 99,008 #1 x4 weeks, #5 YE Hot 100 The Time: 85,736 #4, #37 YE Hot 100 Your Love Is My Drug: 73,273 #4, #28 YE Hot 100 I Like It: 64,061 #4, #12 YE Hot 100
Dynamite definitely doesn't seem to be forgotten and is doing quite well for a 2010 hit. I Like It is pretty forgotten though, same with OMG especially considering how massive it was. The Time, Just A Dream, We R Who We R and Your Love Is My Drug aren't especially well remembered.

I also think you don't necessarily need to be streaming a song to "remember" it. "Blurred Lines" is an abomination and I do not want to hear it ever, but I wouldn't call it "forgotten" in the same way "Suit & Tie" is forgotten.
"Lush Life" doing better than most of the songs that were much bigger hits is... ICONIC. I want Zara Larsson to have her breakthrough so baad. "All the Time" is one of the best songs released last year. Check it out if you haven't!

2009
Down: 213,806 #1 x2 weeks, #20 YE End Hot 100 Break Your Heart: 158,553 #1, #10 YE End Hot 100 Obsessed: 117,103 #7, #41 YE End Hot 100 Boom Boom Pow: 110,398 #1 x12 weeks, #1 YE End Hot 100 Knock You Down: 109,545 #3, #15 YE End Hot 100 Dead and Gone: 62,888 #2, #12 YE End Hot 100 My Life Would Suck Without You: 60,832 #1 x2 weeks, #23 YE End Hot 100 Imma Be: 59,226 #1 x2 weeks, #20 YE End Hot 100 Blame It: 44,540 #2, #16 YE End Hot 100
Down is doing fine for an 11-year-old hit imo. Boom Boom Pow however, for a YE #1 Hit is doing quite poorly. Obsessed is doing well, I think it had some viral meme going for it a little while back? Break Your Heart is doing okay. The rest of the songs aren't doing very well though.

But if no one wants to hear it, that will make it easier for it to be forgotten, and if it doesn't get played, new generations won't ever know it. edit: as for Lush Life, I pointed out the fact that it was bigger in Europe than in the US for a reason. The streams I'm posting are global. And Lush Life's % increase in streams has been the lowest out of those 2015 songs. How Deep Is Your Love had the 2nd lowest % increase.

What happened to Dev anyways? It's like she vanished after that song. Great song, though.

I wonder which summer song has been more forgotten:

dremolus - solarpunk it's easily "Cheerleader." I have a very distinct memory from this past December (yes, December) where "Wild Thoughts" was playing in the background on the radio. I don't think I've heard "Cheerleader" or anything about OMI since 2015. Granted, WT is more recent, but I think Rihanna's name is enough to carry it farther than Cheerleader.

2008 songs, daily Spotify streams
Take A Bow: 238,907 (#1, #12 YE Hot 100) Better In Time: 81,026 (#11, #53 YE Hot 100) 4 Minutes: 73,304 (#3, #23 YE Hot 100) Love In This Club: 66,648 (#1 x3 weeks, #8 YE Hot 100) Let It Rock: 55,848 (#5, #32 YE Hot 100) Leavin': 48,693 (#10, #28 YE Hot 100)
Take A Bow is still doing pretty great and not forgotten. The rest are doing pretty poorly, especially Love In This Club, Let It Rock and Leavin. Let It Rock charted on both the 2008 and 2009 YE charts and would be top 20 on the YE charts if its run wasn't split between years.

2007 songs
Kiss Kiss: 78,972 #1 x3 weeks, #19 YE Hot 100 Sexy Can I: 45,099 #3, #11 YE Hot 100 Clumsy: 34,789 #5, #26 YE Hot 100
All of these held up pretty poorly. Kiss Kiss was the biggest hit out of these but had its chart run split between years a little.

2006 songs
Promiscuous: 217,903 #1 x6 weeks, #3 YE Hot 100 Irreplaceable: 163,523 #1 x10 weeks, #1 YE Hot 100 Pump It: 181,638 #18, #89 YE Hot 100 Me & U: 115,458 #3, #14 YE Hot 100 Say It Right: 98,823 #1, #9 YE Hot 100 Ridin': 86,184 #1 x2 weeks, #8 YE Hot 100 London Bridge: 49,363 #1 x3 weeks, #22 YE Hot 100 It's Goin' Down: 42,888 #3, #18 YE Hot 100 U + Ur Hand: 39,064 #9, #29 YE Hot 100 Deja Vu: 28,424 #4, #75 YE Hot 100 Money Maker: 22,759 #1 x2 weeks, #35 YE Hot 100 Walk It Out: 20,662 #10, #30 YE Hot 100 Ring The Alarm: 10,204 #11, N/A YE Hot 100
Promiscuous doesn't seem very forgotten from this. Pump It is doing great considering it was a relatively minor hit. Irreplaceable's performance is a bit underwhelming considering how huge it was, but not really forgotten, it's still one of Bey's big classics that people know.
Money Maker and Walk It Out were pretty big hits though and their streams are really terrible, so I'd say they're good examples for this thread. Ring The Alarm is pretty forgotten but it was only a minor hit.

2005 songs
Bad Day: 201,676 #1 x5 weeks, #1 YE Hot 100 We Belong Together: 158,428 #1 x14 weeks, #1 YE Hot 100 Run It!: 88,604 #1 x5 weeks, #16 YE Hot 100 Shake It Off: 43,461 #2, #15 YE Hot 100 Grillz: 34,669 #1 x2 weeks, #12 YE Hot 100 Don't Phunk With My Heart: 33,888 #3, #13 YE Hot 100 Behind These Hazel: 29,258 #6, #10 YE Hot 100 Don't Forget About Us: 15,596 #1 x2 weeks, #50 YE Hot 100
We Belong Together's performance is a bit underwhelming considering how massive it was, but it would be really difficult to forget a hit as massive as that, especially when attached to an artist with as strong of a legacy as Mariah's. The follow up EoM singles on the other hand failed to make as much of a lasting impression on people, despite significant exposure, especially Don't Forget About Us, which would've likely been top 30 on the YE charts if its run wasn't split between years.
Bad Day doesn't seem forgotten. The rest have underwhelming recurrents and are relatively forgotten for how big they were.
Just for reference, Mr. Brightside, from around this time period, clocks around half a million daily streams, so all these big hits doing less than 50k are holding up pretty poorly.

2004 songs
Let Me Love You: 296,092 #1 x9 weeks, #3 YE Hot 100 The Reason: 271,599 #2, #6 YE Hot 100 My Boo: 188,795 #1 x6 weeks, #24 YE Hot 100 Disco Inferno: 77,763 #3, #11 YE Hot 100 Burn: 65,937 #1 x8 weeks, #2 YE Hot 100 I Don't Wanna Know: 57,394 #2, #7 YE Hot 100 Lean Back: 51,624 #1 x3 weeks, #10 YE Hot 100 Goodies: 49,740 #1 x7 weeks, #9 YE Hot 100 Lose My Breath: 35,558 #3, #58 YE Hot 100 Sunshine: 31,358 #2, #20 YE Hot 100 Over and Over: 28,225 #3, #48 YE Hot 100
Let Me Love You and The Reason definitely don't look like they're forgotten. My Boo is holding up ok too. Goodies is holding up really poorly though, and most of the other songs aren't doing all that great either.

2003 songs
Baby Boy: 90,043 #1 x9 weeks, #12 YE Hot 100 Me, Myself & I: 65,174 #4, #26 YE Hot 100 Right Thurr: 58,363 #2, #7 YE Hot 100 The Way You Move: 46,798 #1, #5 YE Hot 100 Freek A Leek: 45,785 #7, #14 YE Hot 100 Shake Ya Tailfeather: 43,336 #1 x4 weeks, #13 YE Hot 100 Slow Jamz: 41,621 #1, #16 YE Hot 100 Slow Motion: 35,087 #1 x2 weeks, #13 YE Hot 100 Magic Stick: 18,495 #2, #20 YE Hot 100 Stand Up: 16,143 #1, #45 YE Hot 100 Damn!: 11,081 #4, #46 YE Hot 100
Most of these haven't held up too great, even the Beyonce songs, but she still has the name recognition to carry her songs at least somewhat. I think the most forgotten hits are generally going to be by artists with fewer hits or weaker legacies.
The Way You Move held up pretty poorly for such a massive YE chart hit, same with Magic Stick. Damn! and Stand Up were even bigger than Magic Stick but had their chart runs split between years, so they're especially forgotten for how big they were.
