Of the three songs remaining "The Hard Way" is the most surprising and I think most of us would agree that it would've made for a much better single than "Love Ain't Like That". That said, I still expect this to bow out next leaving an epic showdown between "Break First" and "If This Is The End"!!

There were so many better options that were left as album tracks, such as The Hard Way. While LALT just missed the top 10, I think The Hard Way could have been top five, maybe even #1.

Or not lol...yet again "The Hard Way" continues to surprise me and at this point I guess it could go all the way! I really thought that "Break First" would've been a contender to win the rankdown given how much everyone raved about it in the The Rest of Our Life rankdown, but that might have had more to do with the album itself. And since my top ranking song is still in I of course will be rooting for that one

Before anyone goes writing either of them off in favor of the other, you should know that these songs were both legitimate #1 contenders! And other than some brief floundering in the beginning, these songs pretty much had the top 2 on lock for the entire submission process Also, the winner is only victorious by a measly two points...

But only because Cody Wants Out... TRIED it with the final submission! WHEW look at that bottom 5 sticking out like a sore thumb! "The Hard Way" and "If This Is The End" both flew up to the top of this rankdown very quickly, flip flopping a couple times for #1 and #2 near the middle of submissions, before "If This Is The End" latched onto the top and built up a pretty sizable lead thanks to "The Hard Way" getting some lower ranks from the likes of .indulgecountry and ClevelandRox . In the end, it had built up a sizable enough lead to BARELY survive that renegade rank that came from the final list!!!

Nice try tanking the best song in the rankdown, but alas it prevailed!

I can't express how obsessed I became with "If This Is the End" during the Cry rankdown and it's since gone on to become one of my all-time favorite songs from Faith, single or not. The album era itself is quite underrated and maybe Faith was just a bit ahead of her time in its release, but I think the album has aged better than Breathe (for myself at least) and looking back is much more deserving of the critical acclaim that was showered upon its predecessor. These album track rankdowns have become some of my favorites to do so thanks again for the hosting duties, bboat11!!

I could not be happier with this top 2! "The Hard Way" might seem like a bit of an unexpected contender, but this is easily one of the catchiest songs of her entire career to me. The chorus is pure ear candy, and I LOVE the fiddle that turns this into a real barn burner in the middle despite its poppier production. I think this would have SLAYED as a radio song. I have always thought this song kinda played second fiddle to "You Give Me Love" on Pulse, but this rankdown proves that they are both held in pretty high regard around here! "If This Is The End"... I'm just thrilled to see this song finally win a rankdown! It's had several pretty good showings now, but never actually made it all the way. This song is a vocal masterpiece, with perfect production and a really fascinating melody. At first the verses feel really low-key and the chorus might seem repetitive, but the more I have listened to this one, the more it has gotten under my skin. I can't help but fall in love with it a little more every time I had a feeling this would be a strong contender to finish in the top 5 at least, but the strong #1 finish just feels really right! I cannot thank you guys enough for an awesome rankdown, and a super fun album series I honestly have a whole new appreciation for Faith due to the insights and opinions y'all provided along the way!

It's really hard for me to describe, but it's almost like these are the songs that make an artist truly outstanding, imo. Yes the hits are often great, but there are so many underrated gems that miss out on radio for one reason or another, that the artist poured just as much love and hard work into as the hits... It's almost like these songs are the heart and soul of an artist, if that's not too cheesy. So far between Jo Dee, Martina, Reba, and now Faith, it is really hard for me to say which one I enjoyed more, because they are all so fantastic in their own special way

The three of you who tanked "A Man's Home Is His Castle" are silly. That deserves Top 5. I'm ECSTATIC that "This Is Me" made it to the Top 5! I'm also super stoked that "What's In It For Me" hit the Top 10 and that "Break First" hit the Top 3! That's much more than I had expected tbh! As for the Top 2, it was my #16 vs #18 so I'm glad the #16 pulled it off. I might have under-ranked it a bit but certainly not by much. Thanks for hosting bboat11 and now that Faith is done...I'm ecstatic for what you have in store for us next assuming I know who it is

"If This Is the End" is epic! This rankdown was STACKED and while I had 8 songs ahead of this one on my own list, it definitely was of high enough quality that it could've been a #1 for me. "The Hard Way" is a solid uptempo tune, but it's not particularly strong or memorable to me compared to many songs in this list. Wouldn't have pegged it as anywhere close to a potential winner, and I'm thankful it came up short because it would've been a bit of a head-scratching winner, imo.
