From that list it's gotta be "7500 OBO" or "Good Taste In Women". Hoping they don't pick "Hallelujahville". The rest all work for me to varying degrees. "7500 OBO" was definitely the biggest standout on the record for me and honestly, I'd be complete;y shocked if it wasn't a single. I agree with austin -- it's reminiscent of his early 2000's singles with its production and overall sound. The melody and lyrics get stuck in your head so easy, too. "Now there's a For Sale sign, in the window yeah, cause if I'm gonna let her go I gotta let it go yeah, its gotta go so, 7500 OBO"That part's been stuck in my head for days lol. I would also vote for that as the next single.

The country elements are buried so deep in the mix and the drum loops are cranked up to the point that they distract from the excellent melody. I think I'll get used to it if it's the single, but it seemed so unnecessary. If they go with something else I'd vote for "Gravy". Feels like that might be a good song for this particularly strange moment in time.

I love that Doggone is seriously being considered as an option I want 7500 OBO more than anything, but my luck with Tim's single choices, 7500 and Doggone aren't gonna happen.

As I stated in the thread for the album 7500 OBO or Good Taste In Women are the most logical choices for an uptempo single but after listening to this several times already I have to say I’m in love with the songs Hard To Stay Mad At and Damn Sure Do as well. Overall this album is an 8/10 for me rating. Lastly I will say Tim has more hits left in him. I could see 2-3 songs hitting #1 from this album including I Called Mama. I grew up with 90’s country and Tim was by far my favorite artist from the decade. Tracy Lawrence being a close second. I recall telling my father after hearing Don’t Take The Girl that Tim was gonna be a big hit maker for years to come. Hey I’m no psychic but I was only 12 when the album Not A Moment Too Soon came out so I must’ve knew a good voice when I heard it.

This is losing spins and they’re sending out those RadioTraks surveys for the next single so it makes me feel they’re done with this already possibly. That’s sad for me to say because I was really hoping for another #1 for him with this and now I’m just crossing my fingers it hangs on enough for one more week to be his 58th top 10. If this is truly done I feel like 7500 OBO is the most logical choice for the next single. I feel that song could be the one to return him to the top since Mama looks like it may be done.

I don't see why they would give up on this just as it's entering the top 10, especially since most of the other songs in the top 10 have been on the charts a lot longer than this one.

Those surveys are usually sent out well in advance, so I highly doubt that they are looking to pull the plug on this one immediately. They're just being proactive about gauging interest, but I think they'll continue to push this one until its as far as it can go. I think it'll at least land in the top 5 for him, honestly.

99% sure "Good Taste in Women" is the next single. Just did the Radiotraks survey of the current top 30 and after I completed it, it asked for my opinion on a brand new single and played that song lol.

I think anything other than “7500 OBO” wouldn’t do much of anything on the charts. Even though Tim got a top 10 with “I Called Mama”, it has taken forever (for a Tim McGraw single) to get there and doesn’t really look like a future #1. Radio is in the process of phasing out Tim and he needs a more impactful single, which I don’t think “Good Taste In Women” would be.

Agree that 7500 OBO should be the next single. Weird as it is.

I still think "Hard To Stay Mad At" is the best choice for the next single, especially considering how well it did on Spotify and iTunes when the album first came out. "7500 OBO" and "Good Taste in Women" both sound like hits as well so I'd be ok one of them being released instead.

Even though Tim got a top 10 with “I Called Mama”, it has taken forever (for a Tim McGraw single) to get there and doesn’t really look like a future #1.5 days later and I think I was wrong, lol. Now that Jameson Rodgers flew by Tim, he doesn't have any serious competition close behind him ("One Beer" and "Happy Anywhere" are both nearly 10 million AI behind "I Called Mama") so as long as Big Machine keeps this gaining steadily (like how they handled "What If I Never Get Over You" once it hit the top 10) I think this can make it all the way, at least on Mediabase.

I just completed one of those 30-song Radiotraks surveys and they played “Hard to Stay Mad At” as the brand new single. So I guess the label’s plans may have changed? Regardless, the label really seems to be gathering a lot of feedback to try and get this next single choice right.

Ad in Country Aircheck Weekly dated 10/5/2020 has this going for MAX SPINS NOW!!! So I guess this is the final push for this song for this week.

I was wondering why it was gaining so much all of a sudden... Confuses me quite a bit since it seemed like Tim had a pretty easy path to #1? All he had to do was gain steadily while waiting out Lee, Jason and Jameson, and he could’ve gotten there...

I was inclined to think the same thing, but I know these push weeks are sometimes arranged in advance so perhaps the label just miscalculated his progression. Or, the alternative theory, is that they're pushing now because radio may have given the label some indication that they are wanting to move on from the song sooner rather than later. Idk about MB since it's more easily manipulated for these big push weeks it seems, but my guess is that it comes up short on both like Kane Brown's recently did, which is too bad. Timmy hasn't had a #1 in awhile now, and he may not have many more chances to get there, either.

Tim's never felt like it was going to reach #1 on Billboard and I never thought MB was a certainty either, so I'm not too shocked. It's a great song but this one should disappear from playlists once it's gone from the chart. Slim chance on Mediabase and zero chance on Billboard.

Why did Bobby Bones congratulate Tim this morning on having another No. 1?

at this gaining 400 spins and 2 million AI in one day. #1 might actually be possible if it keeps up this pace.

Why did Bobby Bones congratulate Tim this morning on having another No. 1? After watching this, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet this is going to hit #1 on MB.

Here On Earth by Tim McGraw is in the top 50 on the country charts in Australia. I do think that should be his next single. Tim got lousy lashback from country fans for Truck Yeah. Here On Earth sould be Tim's next number 1.

This push for #1 for this song for this weekend reminds me of 2013's "Give It All We Got Tonight" which gave George Strait his 60th and final #1 to his career thus far thanks to Mediabase. This is really a ridiculous push. Hope this is not the same for Tim even if it only a #1 for Mediabase only. I am thinking Lee will take a 3rd week at #1 as that song is still way ahead in audience and not falling fast enough for McGraw to catch him. I don't Jason Aldean is going to #1 until next weekend, but "Got What I Got" will get there, just not this weekend. That song may challenge Jameson Rodgers as I believe that song will go at each other for #1. Only time will tell in the next 1-2 weeks.
