"This Ol' Rodeo" is easily the best song I heard from Chayce. He has a few jams, but definitely need more sound like this. Love the fiddle production and tempo of the song.

MacKenzie Porter continues to bring great pop country gems to the table as she finished at #4 here with "Bet You Break My Heart," a fitting placement considering the song racked up more 4s than anything else, though my #3 rank was its personal best. She only landed in the teens for four poster's lists, plus a lone bottom 5 from kw9461. |

The Castellows inch out a #3 finish with "Hurricane" by a mere 1-point edge over MacKenzie Porter. This deliciously moody bayou-inspired jam from the tight-knit female harmonies of The Castellows struck a chord with many of us as they accumulated top 10s from all but four posters, and no bottom 5 ranks. A pair of #2s from tim and LBTrocks were their best showing. |

The underdog Lauren Watkins snatches the victory in the November/December set with a mere 3-point lead over Cody Johnson's "Dirt Cheap," which may come as a bit of a surprise upset to some. "The Table" flirted within striking distance of #1 for the majority of the submission process, but the scales were tipped at the finish line with SHOOTER's list. I was a bit shocked to see Cody's song only put up a lone #1 rank (courtesy of kw9461) given its considerable online buzz since its release, but it just did consistently well yet was not the runaway contender for the crown I expected it to be. OTOH, "The Table" secured a pair of #1s from George Strait Junkie and zaclord 🌈. Each track had a singular outlier bottom 5 rank, but Lauren put up an impressive 9 top 10s and Cody managed 10. |

10. Still kind of ripping off early Dierks but also, still not too bad because it is a much fresher reference point.
9. EP is overall bad (especially the overdramatic Been Around Awhile) but this particular song is decent sounding.
8/5. Both have good fiddles, and I feel Chayce's song has more subdued production which in turns makes the song easier to stay on repeat.
7. Some of her rasps in chorus are way too much. I don't think this holds up in multiple listens tbh.
3. What an obscure cover but it fits their slightly breathy vocals the most.
Don't want either The Table or Dirt Cheap to win but at least Lauren Watkins is an underdog in this scenario. Really feel the steel guitar production from Joey Moi to be extremely bland, while Dirt Cheap is an awards bait ballad.

Leaving out the mehs/ this was oks: Tennessee Don't Mind-- I stated before I like them MArlow boys and this hit a groove that I really liked. Hooker-- This one's a lot of fun. Apple Music Radio censors out the word hooker (Ray Kennedy says whassup). Growin' Up Raisin' You-- Very pretty parenting song. This Ol' Rodeo-- The opening sounds very similar Shotgun Rider by Tim McGraw. Victim of the picker though, I like the instrumentation on this one. Bet You Break My Heart-- Big MacKenzie Porter fan and this hit her Canadian pop country groove just fine. Hurricane-- This was ok, but the original* by Leon Everette is one of my favorite songs of all time, so this slower version is not my Hurricane. However, I like the Castellows so I give them a bit more leeway than I'd give most. (* the real original is Levon Helm, but Leon Everette had the hit and is the one in my heart) Dirt Cheap-- Yeah, this is great. I gave a little edge to Justin, but this is also great. The Table-- This was great too. Liked the way it was written. I really like Lauren Watkins, but kind of surprised this is the song for her to win with. "The Table" is good, but I've liked some of her other releases a good bit more. Granted this was one of the weaker lists (fairly deep, but lacking of great, great songs).
