Of course the hint from the Joe Nichols music video was the fact that Brooke sings about it being "75 degrees outside" during the chorus. Unfortunately LBTrocks joins taylor in the #1 loss club

I'm still loving that Brooke has been making a comeback, and this one is really catchy, but for some reason this one has had a little less replay value for me than "No Shade" did last month. (And most of us seem to be in agreement since "No Shade" made it up to #8 last month). She's supposed to be putting out a trilogy of new songs though, so I'm really excited to hear what the 3rd one sounds like when it comes out! I have no idea when that will be tho So far it hasn't come in April...

Brandy Clark bows out next, taking one of her new Deluxe edition jams with her. I have no idea who Lindsey Buckingham is or why she deserved a feature credit here, but this song has a really easygoing melody that goes down smooth! I don't love it the way I do some other songs on this playlist, but it is at least a really pleasant listen! This one was a suggestion from Darkest Hour last month when she started teasing her new Deluxe tracks, but I saved it for this month when her actual Deluxe album came out.

He’s the lead guitarist for Fleetwood Mac. I do like the updated version of this song, but I guess I was just so used to the original version that it was a bit jarring at first. It’s the sign of a really good song though when you can arrange it in two completely different ways.

"True Crime" unforunately bows out next at unlucky #13, with more top 10s than any other song we've seen so far! It was a very strong top 5 contender for most of the first half of the submission process, even being in or near the top 2 for a handful of lists! Unfortunately the low ranks suddenly started pouring in around the halfway point, and just kept coming, tanking it down to #13 where it finally started to regain some consistent footing.

I wish a few of the low ranks had come first so that this #13 finish could be seen as a success story, because MAN! I can't tell you how depressing it was to know this was such a consistent top 5 contender for so long and then watching it plummet 😂

bigfan101 and 🌺CountryLineDancer both join the #1 losses club now.

Taylor Acorn is amazing. Definitely my fav. female pop country singer from the US.
I was introduced to her when I was playing a random playlist in Spotify, and fell in love with her voice.
This one definitely deserves top 10, if not top 5.
Other great songs are Are We, Put It In A Song, Red White, Back To You etc...

Loretta's new all-star collaboration bows out next! I've gotta say, it's very impressive how great Loretta's voice still is considering her age, overall failing health, and the fact that she has looked like she didn't even know where she was the last few times she made tv appearances, lol.

I'm glad that Reba and Carrie got this opportunity, but tbh it feels to me like most of its value is largely rooted in novelty. It's not one I will be listening to on repeat, although I do like it for what it is.

this is what I thought about this as well. Loretta does sound good considering her age but it isn't something I'm gonna seek out again. Carrie and Reba sound great and make me wish for Reba Duets 2 even more (or maybe Carrie Duets!)

Also about Taylor Acorn. I didn't hate the song but I also didn't love it which is why it landed in the middle for me. I'm surprised I didn't love this when you all did so much, maybe I'll give it another chance sometime

Deserves top 10 at least.
This should have been released as the first single over Stick That.
