So it might be a little bit of a surprise to see "Like A Lady" so high here! But keep in mind, "Champagne Night" made it all the way up to #6 last year despite having a few notable detractors. It's a similar story for "Like A Lady", apparently. It's not actually as hated as people make it seem

I do like the melody to this a fair amount, and will probably have it in the upper-middle of my list when we do the year-end rd! However, there is no question that Hillary doesn't have the oomph in her low vocals to pull off the verses of this song. It would be much more effective coming from someone like Shania, Reba, Sara, or Faith, range-wise.

"Like A Lady" could have missed the top 10 altogether but I digress, at least it missed top 5 lol.

It's nice to have a Lady A song with a little edge. This is one of those songs I would probably let play on the radio, but doubt I'd go out of my way to hear. I don't even know what kind of music I want from them anymore, but this is at least a step in the right direction.

So I am very quickly turning into Callista Clark's biggest fan on Pulse... She just has such a unique tone, with the range and power to rival people that I stan for like Martina, Carrie, and Faith. I am definitely intrigued, and excited to see what happens with her career! While "It's 'Cause I Am" may not show off her talents very well, "Heartbreak Song" is much easier to get into, and I would love to hear them try this at radio after ICIA! And I can't wait to get a full album from her eventually! She's still so young, there's so much potential there!

"Heartbreak Song" is a bop!

This is only the second song I've heard from Hailey Whitters, but so far I am REALLY impressed with her!! I do like "Fillin' My Cup" more than this one but this is really great too!!

Apparently Hailey Whitters' new album is right up Pulse's alley, because this is her second amazing placement of this series! She won the January rankdown with "Fillin' My Cup", and now she has a very comfortable top 4 finish with "How Far Can It Go".

To me, this sounds like something that somebody could have had a HUGE with back in the early '00s. Hell, it sounds like the type of song Trisha herself could have turned into a huge hit back in her day!

I normally feel this way, but lately I feel like she's had the output to counteract her voice! Haven't really been a fan of anything by her before these last couple songs though.
