Beyond the ridiculousness of your take on charity work, you are also factually wrong (and out of your mind—but that's not new). Ariana has turned "One Last Time" into a charity single and put out "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" as a charity single after the terrorist attack at her show in Manchester in May 2017. She scored her first two #1's more than 2 1/2 years after that. Your point is???? I am talking about Bieber and he is definitely using charity theme to refresh his own career. Does it bother you so much that he is doing a song like this and if it does happen to help him career-wise?

I think this song is nice. It has a "Love On The Brain" feel I guess. I've always liked the Biebs from day 1 so I expected to like it. About radio deals. There are "deals" whenever it comes to money and business. In this day and age I doubt people are so eager to hear a new song on the radio they will tune in on the hr to hear a song when they can Buy or stream it. Yes, it's fun to hear a song on the radio but.. I'm thinking it's an advertisement type thing with both parties gaining something. "I doubt" and "I'm thinking" are still speculative terms and don't provide certainty though. Obviously people can buy or stream a song but if we're following that logic, why even have radio stations at all? Whenever there's a big-name single set to premiere, there have been many times when I've seen the local radio stations I follow on social media announce that they're premiering the song. Often times they do so at specific times (the top of every hour, etc), which makes it easier for someone to tune in at that time if they're unable to stream or buy it - or don't want to put in the effort to do so when the radio is just going to anyway. Either way, it's a tactic radio can use in an effort to get people who may not be listening to them to tune in. As much as we like to think record labels have something to gain by "paying" stations to play these singles, radio stands to gain by having the exclusive too. And that's why I don't believe these "radio deals" are necessarily paid for.

A major song by a big artist is never only played by one corporation on premiere day. I heart radio stations might have an hourly deal to play a new Justin Bieber track, but you can easily flip the station to another pop station in the same market and they too are playing the song on the debut day. So where exactly is “the exclusive” they would benefit from?

Ariana's new boyfriend Dalton Gomez. He looks like the love child of Pete Davidson, Shawn Mendes, and James Charles.

Just watched the video...cute...but I also heard love on the brain, which is my favorite Rihanna song so that's cool. I want this #1 or top 10 over the other crap competing for the top.

I definitely think this has a decent shot at #1 but I was kind of expecting this to be a chart behemoth and I can't see that happening at this rate

I'm not sure if I've felt so...neutral about a song before. I love Ari and I'll admit Bieber has a few decent songs, but this just sounds...average? Like NeRD said, I don't dislike it but wouldn't be bothered if I never heard it again.

After 24 hours of listening to this non-stop...this is great!!! JB and Ari should do a full album of retro-pop/R&B. Their voices were made to do this and they’ll widen their audience even further. If you recognize my avatar, you’ll realize I’ve been waiting for this a long time...
Let Doja and Nicki have their #1 this week. All Beliebers and Arianators should go stream and multiple buy this song to #1. I’ve already bought 3 and will buy a vinyl or two.

Okay let's talk about Justin Bieber's lack of cohesiveness for a minute.
I feel like the last year, he's just been riding waves and not really building anything cohesive for his brand or discography.
First he showed up on Ed Sheeran's "I Don't Care," which was totally Ed's wheelhouse with Justin just riding along.
Then he turned up on "!0,000 Hours," with Dan + Shay which was their wheelhouse.
His first single "Yummy" was totally off brand, something you would expect from Chris Brown, and once again totally out of his wheelhouse.
Then "Intentions" happened which is perhaps the most "Justin Bieberish" song he has dropped in a while, very much in line with his brand and kind of a recall to the successful DJ Khaled collaborations a few years ago.
And now here we are, with him thrown on this "Built for Ariana Grande" track. Once again, Justin is working in somebody else's wheelhouse.
While all these ventures have been "successful" to a certain extent, there is no cohesive picture. It's all just a bunch of random stuff. I can't help but wonder if he's lost his way a little. Compare these string of collaborations to those he did in 2016-2017 and you will notice a difference. On "Cold Water" "Let Me Love You" "2U" etc, Justin really enchanted those songs and took front and center on them. They felt like very natural follow ups to the "Purpose" era and fit really well in his discography. He really owned them. On these recent collaborations, he's settled into a supporting role, no longer in the drivers seat.
I hope his next era gives us something progressive and cohesive to his brand and discography because I am a fan of his catalog, but the last year has really derailed some of the progress.

Well, you can consider "Stuck With U" as mostly an Ari song. Even though you could say JB kind of inspired her when she covered "Die In Your Arms" (and came to Scooter's attention). I wouldn't mind a whole album of JB/Ari duets like like this. It wouldn't even have to be all 50s/60s doo-wop. Retro 70's like "Cadiallac Song" and 90's R&B would be great too.

So where exactly is “the exclusive” they would benefit from? It might only be a word they (i heart radio, or other radio corps) use since we know once a song is available to one, it's available to all. But labels may actually send the song to one group first before releasing it others. I honestly have no idea which is why I'm asking in the first place. My whole point is, I don't think labels necessarily pay radios for what we call "radio deals". A radio station (no matter which one) stands to gain by announcing they will be playing a hyped-up new single at a specific time (the top of every hour).

The best thing Ariana has released since "Boyfriend". The similarity to LOTB is less than I had anticipated based on the snippets heard earlier.
