It's as stupid as I thought it'd be, albeit significantly less grating. It's pretty much "so bad it's good" for me. Still, I cannot wait for Spectrum Pulse to give it the proper thrashing it deserves on Billboard Breakdown in a good week and a half.

23M views in 11 hours, pretty good, and there'll be A LOT of TikTok action coming up around this I bet.
It's obvious though, that demographically, the appeal of the song will be very limited.

It makes me so proud seeing 69 wearing the rainbow flag in jacket form in his new video, the LGTBQ+'s #1 ally.

shameful at how casual the n*word comes out on pulse...yall couldn't wait what do you mean? is the way I phrased my opinion hurtful or offensive? apologies for bringing it up if it is. I understand that the Black community is going though a rough week and didn't mean to cause any more distress.

Even more reason I don't want Nicki to get creditted, she willingly worked with 6ix9ine, not once but TWICE!

I don’t recall this kind of outrage when FEFE was at its peak and that song is 100 times worse than this one.

I remember a lot of the outrage from that song being centred around Nicki and the damage that it did to her career working with him, not actually Tekashi himself. The actual quality of the song, which is what I’m talking about, was recognised by a lot of people to be garbage, but I don’t remember this kind of negative backlash right out of the gate.

Respect where it’s due. I think it’s amazing how 6ix9ine’s career was essentially over and it was thought that he’d have to go into hiding for the rest of his life away from the public eye, but he decided to continue and he’s basically bigger than ever now. It’s a controversial one, but this is an amazing comeback and it’ll be interesting to see where it all goes from here. Where was this energy on last week's thread when you constantly came for Nicki...

They'd say I hustled Put in the work They wouldn't shake their heads And question how much of this I deserve What I was wearing, if I was rude Could all be separated from my good ideas and power moves And we would toast to me, oh, let the players play I'd be just like Leo, in Saint-Tropez I'm so sick of running As fast as I can Wondering if I'd get there quicker If I was a man And I'm so sick of them Coming at me again 'Cause if I was a man Then I'd be the man

She attached herself to an already extremely successful song with a verse on an instrumental that doesn’t even fit the original song, all in an attempt to go number one with a song that no one will actually remember as being hers.

I don't think anyone, not even his fans, will deny that 6ix9ine is a shitty person... and that's putting it lightly. And the fact that such a shitty person is probably going to have a successful career sucks, especially when there are artists who are genuinely good people that will never be as successful.

I just think that it's weird how you claim 'respect where its due' for Tekashi (a known pedophile and racist) and go on to say that is comeback is controversial but (keyword) amazing. Yet last week you constantly bashed Nicki and discredited her work on that remix. Nicki is the reason that song has a very strong chance of going #1 this Monday. Idk dude the contrast in word choice is funny to me.

Idk dude the contrast in word choice is funny to me. Tekashi was in prison for a year and it was claimed that his career was dead many times but now he’s come back and it’s like he’s never left, beyond that I don’t care about him or his music and it has nothing to do with him as a person. I’ve said basically everything I’ve had to say about the remix and not once did I say that Nicki wasn’t the reason that it might go to number one. You were in last weeks thread acting like a mindless stan and starting pointless arguments with people for criticising Nicki and you got called out for it, don’t come here doing it again please.

NAV is doing bad on Apple Music because everyone is purchasing his album instead. Expect upwards of 500k from the first brown boy to get it poppin.
