Debuts at #59 on Billboard! With "I Hope" taking off on pop (almost top 30 on MB, it's in the 20s on HAC currently), her career is looking like it's only continuing to soar!

Is it all right to talk about her album here. Wow it’s so good. She has done such a great job setting herself apart.

The new album is really good, a lot of variety. I love all the songs, the only one I don't care for is the title track.

Such a solid debut album, I really like it. Singles should be:

How’s this doing on mediabase and billboard anyone know? Last week it moved from #59 up to #56 on the BB Country Airplay chart, and it debuted at #34 on the HCS chart. So, it's off to a solid start.

I hope this starts picking up spins soon, it seems like it is dropping spins on mediabase.

I hope this starts picking up spins soon, it seems like it is dropping spins on mediabase. I mean so far in the 4 weeks it has only had 1 week of losing spins and this song is so early in it's chart run that this one week of going down shouldn't be too bad.

tt took I Hope a long time to chart. Once it did it picked up steam really fast. Seems like they released this one at a bad time. Chart seems really conjested.

Yeah, it took a little over a month from adds date for "I Hope" to chart, and the chart is a bit congested right now, but she/her team had absolutely nothing to gain by holding off on releasing a new single. She'd be even more disadvantaged if they delayed the release of a follow-up. "The Good Ones" will be fine, but it's definitely gonna take a little time to really get going due to the slowness of the country charts. I'd say she's definitely in a better spot with country radio rn than almost any female act could be though.

I think the Good ones will do well. But it will probably go on a 9month chart run. I don’t look for it to peak till March early April 2021. But I’m predicting top 10 at least. This album may only get 3 singles. But it’s crucial these 3 singles do very well.

Gabby Album is 119 this week with 4.6k units SPS. According to Rolling Stones. Seems like roughly 30k units total so far. She’s gonna have to gain momentum or I don’t see this album getting to Gold. But maybe this album more about radio establishment then units SPS. If she can get a couple more hits I think this era will be a success.

The data is not final. And the sales and streams for songs released prior to album release count for certification so this album definitely has more than 30k units for certification purpose.

Album sales aren't that bad, I've seen worse. Part of the problem is we are in this pandemic. It’s not like she’s able to go actively promote this Album. No tv or touring all she’s got is radio and social media I’m sure promotion is very hard right now.

Album sales aren't that bad, I've seen worse. Of course we have seen worse. Just expected with such a huge song blowing up, sales would be better (or at least not awful). Oh well. It's still early but all those comparisons to being, "the next Carrie," show how hard it is to live up to something like that.

I don't think anyone expected her to actually be the next Carrie any more than Kelsea was going to be the next Taylor, or at least anyone with sense wouldn't have expected that kind of immediate blow up. Women are just always slapped with those labels by the industry and compared to each other in ways men never are subject to. I feel like she'll be fine. It's not like all the other new women in the genre are just killing it in selling/streaming right now.

That would be a huge accomplishment. I do believe she can reach carry underwood stardom eventually.

Unlike I Hope, this did not stand out to me when I listened to it the first time. I like other songs from her album more than this one. I still think it will be successful for her, but it will take more time in the charts.

No tv or touring all she’s got is radio and social media I’m sure promotion is very hard right now. She was #4 on the Country Chart for week 1 and #5 for week 2. Not bad, looks like a lot of the albums aren't selling. Tenille Townes put out a great album and she didn't make the top 25 of the country chart. I think the pandemic has something to do with decreased sales, people aren't running out to target and walmart to buy albums and some people just don't have the money. I think 30,000 in sales is good for a debut album

I had higher expectations for the sales but not by all that much. I was thinking it would be around 45-50 k.
Now a lot of this is probably due to the pandemic. Country audiences tend to still lean slightly to physical sales and there’s definitely been delays on that front. Her having cross overplay doesn’t help much with album sales as the Pop format doesn’t buy as many albums. All that + no televised or live promotions is definitely impacting her numbers.
If she ultimately clears 100k in sales she’s more than fine.

i don't know what it is, I really liked her on AI a few years ago, but her studio sound isn't really doing much for me. I didn't care for I Hope at all(didn't hate it or anything, but just wasn't my cup of tea), but i do like this one probably the best of everything i've heard from her so far. I will at some point listen to her album in full because i do want to give it(and her) a chance.

Where’s this song at on the charts? It is not doing so well, it is 51 on the Billboard chart but it has a negative bullet. Also drops to #48 on the Hot Country Songs Chart, it peaked at #34. Not in the top 50 on mediabase.
