Is that decent? 18 weeks seems pretty long... We’ve been over this multiple times now. How many times do we need to repeat ourselves? That IS normal on this chart. Songs take forever to climb unless you’re Luke Combs or any other popular male artist. Truthfully, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The way I see it, with how well it’s currently selling and streaming with its minimal airplay, it’s bound to reach #1, and it’ll be a big hit at that one. What exactly are its Sales and Streaming numbers?

Gabby was nominated for an AMA award for Female Country Artist. "I Hope" is really doing unbelievable things for this girl. Three female country artists nominated for the AMA award and they are Miranda, Maren, and Gabby. No Carrie, Kacey, Kelsea, etc... Gabby snatched the spot. Wow!

"The Good Ones" entering the Top 30 on Mediabase with a bullet of 190. Very great start for a female sophomore single and would not be shocked if this hits #1 sometime next year (I would guess April to May as a safe bet but as early as March if things go right).

It is worth noting and celebrating that in the same week that Gabby Barrett officially enters the Mediabase Top 30 with her sophomore single, her debut single is sitting pretty in the top 10 of the Hot 100, remains near #1 in Hot AC, enters the top 5 in Pop, and is the #1 recurrent single in Country.
Honestly unbelievable. Grammy Best New Artist material.

This song is competing with her own "I Hope" more than anything because its the biggest hit of the year and still has massive recurrent play so I think that slowed its run down some, but this has, despite the constant pessimism from her die-hards every time it gets a subpar update, always looked like another home run. It being Gold already before hitting the top 30 says it all.

Kinda want I hope to start dropping in hot ac much faster so then by the time this hits top 20 on country, they can start pushing it to hot ac then to Chr (if it takes off on hot ac) . I don’t it’s a matter of if, but when.

Looks like things are finally starting to turn around for this. Hopefully a top 5 finish! If things had, “turned around,” it would mean it is not doing well right now. This was doing well and continues to do well as told to you countless times. This is how the country charts work. I hope you remember this for single 3 and save us from you asking each week.

The shade of it all! @ those last few posts lmao. Seeing how this is certified Gold and only just now is in the Top 30 seems like pretty great indication that she's got another massive hit on her hands. I wouldn't be shocked to see this go #1 early next year.

The Good Ones is #30 on both Billboard and Mediabase charts. Also up to #23 on Hot Country Songs. She is having a great year, the album is #7 and has been in the top 10 since its release.

Only thing that I really did not like about this year's CMA is the fact that Charlie Puth was invited to ruin I Hope. It's CMA, I was hoping for Gabby's solo (with Cade's guiter). Love Gabby and I Hope, and I like some songs by Charlie, but wish this remix never existed! Also wish Settling Down was not acoustic, but it's a small thing compared to Charlie! To conclude, please do not ruin The Good Ones with remix, when she plays this next year.

Hate how his fans think he made this a hit, he latched on to a hit since he hasn't had one in years. So happy my local stations play the solo version

I like her solo version as well, but I didn’t know about it until Charlie hopped on, and I really do like their version and the new production. He did explain in a video online that he contacted her to be on it. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Their duet definitely brought added light to the song and helped it gain more traction, there’s no denying that. I was excited about them finally performing together, the performance was ok, but I won’t give critique them for it since were in different times right now.

Bonus performance on Ellen.

I think this is going to be a huge hit by next Spring. I know there's been talk about the third single, but I wouldn't be surprised if - while pregnant - she and the label are putting together the second album. If this hits like it should, she will have two huge hits under her belt by this time next year. I'm imagining her team are eying a feature next Summer to tide over the momentum and have the lead for her second album out next Fall, along with tour announcement for 2022 etc.
It's the smart play on the one hand, on the other it would be a shame not to have Thank God, Jesus & My Mama and Goldmine get the single treatment since I could see all of them being successful (I don't quite see the hit-potential for Footprints On The Moon as others have suggested, which I like as an album track, but I think it's too 2009/Disney/AC for radio today).

^ "Thank God" and "Goldmine" MUST be singles. I lowkey don't want a new album until those have also smashed at radio lol.

I could see this album only getting 3 singles. As I believe the label would like to move on to a lead single to a new album next year. So if they do that there want be much room or time for single 4. I do hope this Album goes Gold although in these times it seems single success is more valuable then Album success. Just because most people uses Spotify Apple Music etc...

This song has lost its bullet. Is it in trouble or just the holidays. Really sucks if I Hope is preventing this from climbing anymore.

This song has lost its bullet. Is it in trouble or just the holidays. Really sucks if I Hope is preventing this from climbing anymore. As said in the Keith Urban/P!nk thread the charts are super clogged right now, if it helps she has recieved 13 adds the past 4 weeks so radio is still on board with this song for the long haul. Also this song is still young for a country radio single in 2020 (26 weeks). It's just probably a rough week as honestly besides this week every week since hitting the Top 30 this song has done pretty well. Lastly if her losing her bullet means this song is done the same should be said for Sam Hunt's latest and that will also be around for a while longer. Just between the holidays it gets slowly harder and harder for songs to gain as Christmas music continues to increase slowly heading to the big holiday
