But it didn't gain. It was always there.
May 24th for instance - 1 week ago (not counting Gunna album and a song from Polo G): #1 ROCKSTAR #2 Rain On Me #3 Savage Remix #4 The Box
i shouldn't count Rain On Me either because it also was releassed on May 22nd with the Gunna album so without the first week hype The Box was #3 last week.
The Box was always there, it never left the top, ROM and Savage Remix dropped in streams & The Box remained consistent. And there are no new albums with tracks that are good on streaming.

That is my only clue. hmm, highly doubt riots would contribute to a sudden spike, no matter how much news coverage the riots have been getting. If BLM actually using and chanting Kendrick Lamar's 'Alright' didn't make much of an impact, I doubt it would do now (sadly). Sadly: cheap cash-grab charity singles get attention but large protest anthems don't (see also: Fight the Power) |

OK you triggered me, position of The Box on Apple Music US (counting songs older than 1 week):
The Box didn't suddenly rise in streams May 29th - #3May 28th - #3May 27th - #3May 26th - #3May 25th - #3May 24th - #3May 23rd - #4
New songs are high during the first 2/3 days then drop like flies. This week there are 0 new songs that are higher then The Box on AM and Savage Remix dropped bellow The Box in streams.
That is why The Box is #2 on Apple Music
