So, what was that discussion with Gooba being removed? It is still on Spotify. they said that the video was removed not the song..but I still can see the video on his youtube channel The video was reinstated. It was only briefly removed. |

Tanking might be too big of a word. ROSALIA hasn't had a smash hit yet (at least in the US) and she isn't a household name for any song of hers to "tank." This is still the best performance she had streaming wise just on how much traction it's gotten. |

The avg streams for the top 200 was actually not that much lower compared to the previous Sundays. I believe the protests had some impact but nothing huge. |

In the past months of 2019 in my country we had a REALLY revolutionary season with a lot of protest (3 million of people on the streets in a country with 17M) againts the politic corruption, the Healthcare and retirement system, police and military brutality and violence, and more..: it was chaotic, a lot of people lost their lives and body’s parts (mostly eyes) because the police.
I remember at that time the top songs on spotify and youtube here were mostly protest songs associated with the movement, a lot of old songs became anthems with the people in the protest and everyone were singing them. Maybe could happen in the USA? A song (or songs) from the past that became popular again...

The blacker the berry would’ve been even more excellent because it’s literally an anthem for the situation that’s going on right now. While i don’t mind and would absolutely enjoy any song from TPAB to re chart and become a hit, my personal preference would be this song
And if alright does actually stick around long enough and make the year end list, it will be my second fav hit of 2020 (technically)
