This is definitely different. Real U2 like feel on a lot of these songs. Mostly a rock album.
Janie Blue, Red White Blue Jean American Dream (better be the next single), and Payin Hard are definitely the main standouts for me.

Haven’t got to check the album out yet but I feel Kip is one of the most underrated artists in country music. I’m surprised he hasn’t had more hits than he actually has.

I’m surprised he hasn’t had more hits than he actually has.I think that has more to do with the singles his label has selected to release to radio (“Girl of the Summer” for example). I do have to give credit to MCA Records for sticking with him, though, as they obviously believe in him enough that they’ve been together for almost ten years now. That said, I do wonder if this might be his last record with them. I’ve just started listening to this album and so far I’m actually liking it a bit more than Slowheart. Aside from the aforementioned “Red White Blue Jean American Dream”, I’m really digging “Southpaw” and “Fire and Flame”.

I’ll always be sick over Girl Of The Summer not being a single. My favorite song of his. Would’ve been huge. And based off his interviews, very real chance a revisited version of “Crazy One More Time” will get a radio release for the next project.

I've listened to this album a lot over the past week and so far "Fire and Flame" is my favorite song. That being said I actually really like this album almost as much as his debut. Right now I'd put Up All Night as his best album, followed by this one, then Wild Ones, and lastly Slowheart (I feel like the majority of Slowheart just never connected for me like his other albums, maybe when I do the rankdown for it later this year it finally will lol)
Back to this album, "Fire and Flame", "Red White Blue Jean American Dream", "Southpaw", "Grow On You", and "Payin' Hard" are the highlights. "She's Mine", "Wild World", "Janie Blu", "Crazy For You Tonight", "More Than Tonight", and "Sweet Virginia" are all really good as well. My least favorites right now are "South" and "Hey Old Lover". I need to listen to both some more though cause they are good just at the bottom for me.
I also saw his live stream the other day where he said the current plan is to re-record "Crazy One More Night" for his next project so that is exciting. He did say that it could end up changing but that is currently the plan. Since that is one of my favorites off his first album I really hope that happens! Still a shame that song was never a single, that and "Everything but You" should have been singles!

This album has really got better and better with each listen I 100% agree! Kip Moore is practically the only artist whose albums I can listen to from beginning to end without wanting to skip a single song. I’ve found all four of his LPs to be amazing and even enjoy the two EPs he’s put out. I’ve been listening to this new album non-stop since it came out, and am loving it. I agree with a lot of what’s already been said above. Right now the one song I keep wanting to go back to is “Fire and Flame”. There is something so relatable and magical about this song to me right now in life. A+

I’m thrilled there’s some of y’all enjoying this album as much as I am as it really does get better with each listen. I actually think this might be one of his best records to date and I just hope MCA doesn’t do an injustice to this album as they have with his previous releases when it comes to the singles.
And I agree with y’all above that “Fire and Flame” really is the standout track of the album...I just can’t get enough of it.
