I would give it a B+. I think it's a solid album overall, but it felt just a tad weaker than some of her other ones.

I give it an A-. Not a single bad song, although there are ones that (for now) are just a little forgettable. The music is fantastic, I do wish there was a little more passion behind it though. At times it seems genuine & at times it seems like she’s just making the album because the fans wanted dance pop music again.
But still... it’s probably one of my favorite albums of the year so far.

A-. It's very cohesive in sound and is pleasant production wise. I like that her vocals were used in different ways throughout the album and it does its jump at entering Gaga's world.

I give it A+
I didn't have A+ in mind until today. I've played each track about 3 times and the songs are connected just as the whole theme of Chromatica that she is trying to portray. Each track grew on me much better after 3rd listens and it is amazing. Her music does not fit with the current hip hop trend, but because it stands out quite differently, I am forced to give it a plus.

B+
It lacks the songwriting to really reach higher and make highlights truly pop out and stay out, but it mostly makes up for it in consistency.

I'd probably give it a B. 4/5 stars. It's a pretty good album with some really good tracks. I really appreciate the 90s house throwback on some tracks. I can see it being my fave release from this year.
If I have to rank it with her other albums, it would probably be in the middle. I still consider Born This Way to be her best album, followed by The Fame Monster, even though that one was just an EP.

B+. I either liked or loved all of the songs, but the highs on this album don't quite compare with those on TF, TFM, or BTW. Still a very solid album though!

A-, I liked all of the songs, but it was too cohesive compared to her other work.
Here is my ranking for all of Gaga’s albums including The Fame Monster.
1. The Fame Monster 2. The Fame 3. Chromatica 4. Artpop 5. Joanne 6. Born This Way (yes, I don’t like born this way, don’t @ me)

Given this album 3 listens now and have gone over the lyrics, I gave it an C+ originally but I'm going back in forth in settling on a C.
The rest of the album at best was a slog to listen to and at worst a backstep for Gaga. I might not like Joanne but there was more lyrical ambition there! And if it was just going to be a fun, lightweight record, aside from Sour Candy, Rain on Me, Enigma and Free Woman, none of the songs are all that fun.

I gave it a B.
Very cohesive, my type of music, but as others have said, the highs aren't as high as her other albums. Still, it's a great album and much better than Joanne and ARTPOP. But you gotta be in the mood for it. It's not an everyday listen type of album. At least it won't be in the future.

I'd give it a B-/C+. I like the production, it's a super easy listen, no need to skip any tracks. But most of it isn't sticking or moving me at all. I'll move on from this quickly (I'm already starting to). Weak hooks on most of the songs, the bridges aren't launching, the brevity makes some of the songs feel unfinished (and some of them quite frankly are).
It's all a good vibe, just wish her song-writing was at it's usual level.
All that being said, I'm just glad to see her slaying again and back in this musical lane.

It's a B- for me
Not her strongest work, the mid section of the album is a dud for me, but it's still a fun record with bops
However, this album just like Joanne has zero songs that I would even rank in the upper echelon of her discography.

I rate it an “A -,” because while I love it (purchased it digitally, and will be buying the deluxe edition physical CD), some of the lyrics are weak and there are a couple tracks that don’t do it for me; otherwise, it would be A+!
