A song where a non-black person repeatedly uses the n-word (as 6ix9ine is almost guaranteed to do on this track) being promoted as a BLM charity single is a slap in the face.

So, this might not be the best place for this but I just heard about this, found this audio on YouTube and wanted to share it. It was George Floyd with the pseudonym "Big Floyd" rapping on some mixtape in the 1990s by DJ Screw.

Nicki has proven time and time again will do just about anything to score a hit song. (A part of) the proceeds from what is sure to be a vile and disgusting song being donated to the bail fund is just a cover from any criticisms about a new single being released at this time. I've been getting second-hand embarrassment from Nicki since 2018.

My prediction tells me that Rain On Me won't stabilize. Radio is increasing, but the streams and sales drop is just to big to hold up. Not sure where you're getting that from. It's currently #1 on iTunes, #20 on Apple Music, #9 on Spotify, #10 on Deezer, and #6 on Amazon. Sales are literally steady at #1 and its streaming, while naturally decreasing from release week, is relatively stable. 20% decrease on spotify in comparison to a week before, a steady view drop on youtube, the lead is much smaller to Blinding Lights(which is #2) compared to last week in itunes as well.

I don't know why all of you are surprised and upset at this. It is not all of a sudden. I saw this at popheads: "What does she have to gain from this artistically or commercially?" Maybe she just likes 6ix9ine. It is that simple.
Take a look at her husband, convicted rapist who also spent time in jail because of a murder. Her brother who she called "alleged sex offender" is serving 25 years for child rape (yea he was convicted, and Nicki called him alleged).
Nicki Minaj attracts this type of people in her life. 6ix9ine is just her cup of tea.
Music aside. Nicki is just a bad person so FUCК her.

A “slap in the face” to who? Are you asking this in good faith? The answer is pretty clear, it would be a slap in the face of the people protesting against racism in this country.

So... ‘6ix9ine’ releasing a song where he’ll repeatedly use the ‘N-word’ (more or less) would be a “slap in the face” to those protesting against racism?

Most people don't mind 6ix9ine saying the N-word (or any hispanic person for that matter). So 6ix9ine saying it isn't racism to many people. I am talking about black people to be clear.

So... ‘6ix9ine’ releasing a song where he’ll repeatedly use the ‘N-word’ (more or less) would be a “slap in the face” to those protesting against racism? he's a non-black Latino, so yes? I’m not sure why it’s constantly being brought up that ‘6IX9INE’ is a “non-Black person who repeatedly uses the N-word”. He is Hispanic and, as a teenager, was introduced to and associated with a particular culture where usage of the word was commonplace amongst Black people as well as Hispanics. ‘Race’ and ‘Ethnic background’ was never an issue for those of whom chose to use the word as long as their was loyalty and comradeship displayed amongst your group or ‘crew’. In cities ala. New York and Los Angeles, and within the poorer districts, this was and has especially been the case. Non-Black/Afro-centric Dominicans, Cubans, Puerto Ricans etc. often use the word and have been doing so for a long time. Hispanic rappers ala. Fat Joe, Big Pun, Baby Bash, Lil’ Pump etc. have also repeatedly used the word. Overall, I believe this is due to the fact that countries ala. Puerto Rico & The Dominican Republic are vastly multi-racial/ethnic thus the lines are often blurred as to what is or isn’t appropriate in terms of language and linguistics. It’s only a major issue if the Hispanic individual is of clear, pure European heritage and is very White-passing. Yes, there are select portions of Black people that take offence to it (hence why Cardi B is frequently called out for it despite identifying as Black) but, for the most part, a lot of them don’t and especially in and amongst Hip-Hop/Urban culture. It goes much deeper than just... “A Hispanic using the N-word”.

Anyway, the song being promoted as a BLM charity single is a slap in the face like I said and I hope DaBaby drops the ROCKSTAR remix and music video to block it.
