I loved the New Jack Swing undertones of IIWYL. Which probably explains why it was done so dirty. π

Catching up! 10. Time Will Pass You By (4): This was a nice discovery reminiscent of her previous stuff. Quite catchy with a nice retro sound that worked well for me. This is far from the worst in this album. How did it end in the bottom? 9. Automatic Love (10): Yeah, this was a clear bottom third. Melody is weak af, and music is forgettable filler stuff. 8. Where Has the Love Gone? (3): Wow! Great discovery! I love the mix of classic and modern dance production, with nice background vocals and of course lead vocals. Cool melody, too. I can understand that this may be a bit too clubby for this RD. 7. Dangerous Game (9): Another clear bottom third to me. She sings it very well, but the melody is pretty weak to me. The production has some nice touches like the strings, but the late 80s R&B sound didn't work for me. 6. If I Was Your Lover (7): This was ok. I liked the melody and instrumental enough to escape my my bottom 1/3.

5. Falling (6): Another nice discovery. Slick production, cool vibe, sensual vocals. A bit left field for a Kylie song, which helped me counteract the relatively simple melody. The Alternative Mix was also strong. This could've been a track in Erotica 4. Surrender (8): This has the right element of sensuality, including those background vocals, but the melody -especially in the chorus- wasn't it for me.

3. Where Is The Feeling? (5): My 3-5 were pretty close. I had this one at #3 for some time, but in the end I liked the melody and production of the other two a bit more. This is pretty good, too, but the chorus reminded me a bit too much of Spice Girls' Who Do You Think You Are?

IDK why people dislike the Dolphin Mix of WITF so much, I think it's fantastic (and the 13-minute extended BIR Soundtrack is gorgeous).

Sorry to keep you all in suspense The final was no contest and should not surprise anyone. "Confide In Me" almost won the Kylie Singles Rankdown over CGYOOMH, but one person torpedoed it right at the end. Just look at all those #1s!! Fire IslandRoach Motelπ

Happy for this top 2!! Put Yourself is nice, but not in my top half of her songs. I actually ranked it at #53 in the Kylie RD. I'd likely rank it higher now, as I appreciated her vocals and production a bit more now. Confide In Me is one of my favorite Kylie songs ever. I ranked it at #3 in my Kylie RD. It's my favorite vocal performance from Kylie, and the slick, elegant, mysterious, lush instrumental and production. Great to see it obliterate the competition :)

Any predictions for Impossible Princess while I make the graphics? The rankings where all over the place with much higher point values for each song than KM94. I honestly had no idea what would happen and didn't check the actual ranking until all the results were in.

Oh yay my bottom 3 is gone We were in pretty solid agreement about the bottom 3 as a group. It's the rest that's all over the place.

IDNA is probably the one song off this album I don't really care for.
It doesn't help, I suppose, that it feels like IP is the amalgamation of two completely separate projects - half of the tracks are going in this more 'cool' indie pop-rock direction while the other half is really moody electronica (and much more underground than the house leanings of KM94). Even the electronic songs that I ranked low feel like they have more going for them than this does, even when considering only the half of the record it 'belongs' to.
