The nostalgia for the singles runs STRONG with some people in this rankdown.

I'd be okay with a certain French song going soon.

10. I Miss You (9): Not a fan of this type of beat or production, and the chorus melody is far too simple to me. I won't miss this. 9. I'll Still Be Loving You (6): I thought this was one of her best vocals in this album; I really liked the melody in the chorus, so I'm actually downloading this one. 8. Love At First Sight (7): Catchy, vibrant chorus, with nice melody and a bit more vocal attitude than in other dance songs of this album. 7. Look My Way (10): I don't think this style of music fits her that well either. And the melody in the chorus isn't that catchy to me either. Plus it feels more like a filler track of Madonna's first album 6. It's No Secret (8): I didn't know this had been a single. Oops. I liked the vocal arrangements much more than my bottom 2. The production is pretty bad, though.

bat, I find "It's No Secret" inoffensive. It fits the mold of fun, peppy Kylie. Plus, this one doesn't have the typical SAW sound, so that's a positive. Like I said, though, not surprised to see it rank as the lowest of the singles.

Oh I lowkey thought this was gonna win. Wasn't this her biggest hit outside of "Can't Get You Outta My Head" or am I wrong? Idk Ms. Kylie well tho.

I thiiiiink it may have been her only other US radio hit? But she's been so successful both here and in the UK I wouldn't begin to know where it stacks up in her hit catalogue.

"Loco-Motion" is her only smash hit in the US besides "Can't Get You Out Of My Head," but globally she's had many other hits eclipse it like I Should Be So Lucky, Especially For You, Spinning Around, Hand On Your Heart, Confide In Me, I Believe In You, All The Lovers, etc.

5. Je ne sais pas pourquoi (5): I like the melody in the pre-chorus and chorus, but the verse melody is a bit weak, and even the chorus could be stronger. It’s a nice pleasant song. 4. The Loco-motion (2): oh! This was a big hit back home, reaching the top of our national charts. I loved it and it reached the top of my personal chart. I think there’s a HUGE difference between the Australian and the SAW versions. Like, the Aus version would’ve flopped in my personal chart at the same time, I like the album version (without the extra bass sound) below much better than the single edit (?). That was the version that got popular back home. I like this better than the original to be honest. And I have lots of great memories that will always make me like it quite a bit. By the way, back home in Peru this is arguably her biggest hit. After this hit she was absent from our radio airwaves until Can’t get you outta my head became a hit. youtu.be/eREABBsxBS83. Gotta be certain (4): much stronger melody than Pourquois, and I like the handclap sounds :) 2. Turn it into love (3): I love her vocals here, and the melody and production are pretty strong as well. The melody in the first seconds of the verses are very similar to another song, though, and that bothers me a bit 1. I should be so lucky (1): I remember hearing this in a minor pop station back home. It wasn’t a hit, and it was only played in one station, but I liked it quite a bit, and it reached my personal top 15. With time, it’s become one of my top 10 favorite Kylie songs. The production is quite interesting, mature, more synth pop than bubble pop, the melody is strong, the slight key changes are a nice bonus, and Kylie does a good job vocally. Probably the best representative of Kylie’s SAW music.

I went into this completely blind because the only thing I knew was that "Loco-Motion" was a hit, but I didn't know what any of the other singles were or what songs were faves or not, and I genuinely liked that one the least upon the few listens I gave to everything (didn't hate it tho -- just liked the other songs more). I'll revisit it and see if my opinion changes, but I didn't get the appeal while doing the RD.

Fun fact, "Turn It Into Love" was covered by Hazell Dean and released in Europe who worked with the same producers as Kylie.
It's also considered one of the best Stock-Aitken-Waterman songs of their prime hitmaking days.

In my imagination... it's no secret that "I Should BE So Lucky" is the top track on the Kylie album. :)
