Yes. Their farewell tour was postponed, so I don't know if they will reschedule in 2021.

They were supposed to do a farewell tour this year but that obviously got postponed. With it happening now or later, I always expected they'd have something out to promote it though, whether it was just one final single or one last album. I'm excited to hear this one.

That farewell tour means they are retired from touring but not business. They said they will ditch the album approach and would focus on releasing singles instead.

Writers are Marc Beeson, Josh Osborne and Allen Shamblin. Wasn’t Marc Beeson the lead singer of Burnin’ Daylight?

Yes, he's also a veteran songwriter -- penning songs such as "The Blade" by Ashley Monroe, "Be Grateful" by The Farm, "We Are Tonight" by Billy Currington and "When She Cries" by Restless Heart.

He also wrote one of Exile’s top 20 singles “Even Now” I believe. “Let Me” by Pat Green I believe is another song he wrote.

So, is this like their “farewell” single? Seems to be that way based on the song title.

Teaser for "How They Remember You."
Certainly sounds like a Marc Beeson and Allen Shamblin co-write.

The snippet sounds very promising. You can tell the song is going to have that signature 2000s Rascal Flatts melody.

They did make an announcement after their last record that they were going to stop doing full albums and just focus on releasing singles here and there, but I think that was before they made the decision to do the farewell tour so I guess we'll see what materializes? Their first Greatest Hits project came out clear back in 2008, so at this point it is pretty outdated with another decade of hits since its release. I could see it going either way, but with the release date so soon, I could see that being a pretty likely guess.

Also could add the last few singles that weren't on albums.

One more #1 for them is all I ask so they can have 15 #1's. They truly are the second best country group of all time imo behind Alabama. Nothing against the Oak Ridge Boys either.

This is great. I could see this succeeding or failing on the charts. Best song they’ve released in a long time.

I mean it's okay. Not anything bad, but this song feels very forgetful, like listening this for the first time and honestly by the end nothing of the song stuck with me.
In terms of chart prospects, obviously this will have iHeartMedia debut and all that. But beyond that I don't see this song doing much more than "Back To Life" did.

I agree. It’s just...there. Cheesy lyric video aside, I thought it would be more obvious about their goodbye.

Impressive debut, pre-arranged airplay aside. I think there's a good chance that this will be its peak, but it's much higher than I initially thought it would be.

Not even three months in and this is already in the top 30 on Mediabase. Seems to be doing pretty well, all things considered.

I honestly got over this one pretty quick and never cared with it that much from the start, but part of me is hoping that it can hang around just long enough to sneak into the top 10 so they can go out with one final top 10 hit. It's such a non-event single release though; for comparison, it has out-peaked "Back to Life" so far on the airplay chart and that one has 56 million streams on Spotify... "How They Remember You" only has 6 million.

Yeah I am kind of done with this song as it has never stuck with me and besides "Hard Days" by Brantley Gilbert this is the song I forget is on the chart the most. I am hoping once this hits the Top 10 on Mediabase and/or Billboard the label drops this because this has seriously taken it's sweet ass time in the teens being a total non event in every sense of the word and is starting to get to the point where it feels like it is taking up chart space not doing much.

Up from #16 to #15 this week on Billboard Country Airplay, this week marks 32 weeks on the chart.
