Jagged Little Pill turned 25 last week. Alanis put out an acoustic version of the album after 10 years. A collection of demos, live and remastered version of the album after 20 years, and for 25 years, this:
I think a covers tribute album could be epic. Obviously nothing would beat the original but thatβs not the point. Who could we see doing a cover of a song on this? Maybe we can get a track-by-track list and push it on Twitter! Letβs make it happen!

Avril Lavigne should absolutely do something on it.

Brandi Carlisle, Demi Lovato, Kacey Musgraves, Melissa Etheridge, and Pat Benatar would be amazing on something like that.

Avril could do Ironic or You Learn!
Kacey Musgraves on Perfect - or Mary Jane!
Halsey would probably be picked to do You Oughta Know. She best not fuck it up.

Avril Lavigne should absolutely do something on it. This isn't 2003 and this isn't the kidz bop version NO Florence Welch/every other moody indie-pop girl with strong lungs and a slightly annoying quirkiness from the early 2010s are destined for this. All the girls these days whisper they couldn't handle Alanis we need some screechers. Lorde doesn't screech but I think her pronunciation/delivery would work really well in a Alanis tribute.

Yes @ Lorde. Maybe she could do the other of Mary Jane/Perfect.
Florence should do All I Really Want.
Who gets Forgiven? Not Miley.

St. Vincent was my first thought for whatever reason. Let's put her on... could she do Forgiven? Or is she more of a Wake Up? Who's doing Your House tho

Kween of Covers is a must--she was masterful with "That I Would Be Good" and "Perfect" so it's already established that Alanis' material suits Kelly's voice.
I could see Lana doing something interesting with "Head Over Feet"; SZA would probably slay something too.
Lorde, Kacey Musgraves, Brandi Carlile, Halsey are good choices, too.

P!nk would be a good choice.
I think Hayley Williams (Paramore lead singer) would be a good choice as well.
