This was the follow-up to her only hit "Temptation" in 1991. Was played primarily on rhythmic top 40 stations, like Hot 97 NY, Power 106 LA, B96 Chicago, KMEL San Francisco, etc. This was a decent song but I prefer "Temptation". music video www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YivHtu0B64

I always felt the club mix they used for the single version was a little too close to "Temptation." The new drum loop is pretty much identical. I love it regardless, all of the uptempos on that album were winners. I really wish "I've Got It In For You (Boy/Love)" had seen the light of day as a single.

This one is such a jam! It was a worthy followup to "Temptation." I am more accustomed to the single/club version but I do like the original which was a little more House-ish. I can see why it was made to sound a little more "Temptation"-ish.
Fun fact: this song was originally recorded by Rianna Paige for her 1st album but then the label folded and it never ended up coming out. She was apparently really bitter that this happened.
