It was exciting to see many performances from the competition make the Hot 100 during these middle seasons. This was in Idol's heyday and buying on I-Tunes was at an all time high. But, it's even cooler seeing so many contestants have post-Idol success. David Cook leaves us now, but he'll definitely be back in the next editions of this series!

I like Kelly and Jordin better than most other Idol contestants, but season 7 was overall my favorite season of the series. I loved nearly all the contestants that year. Archuleta and Smithson were my favorites; I liked David Cook, too, though. David Cook has a new EP calling The Looking Glass coming out tomorrow, btw! I've found his music improved once he left his label, actually.

This song did well for Kelly, giving her another top 10 hit on the Hot 100. It's a shame that her "My December" album era didn't do much. "Sober" should have been huge for her.
