#22 - Stand by Me - Phillip Phillips: I didn't care for most of Phillip's run on the show, which includes this performance. Also didn't care for the recording, hence why this was an easy #22. Yayy for a perfect ranking! #21 - Volcano - Phillip Phillips: This was one of Phillip's best, if not his actual best, performance on his Idol season, so that's why I gave this a high ranking at #11. Also really enjoyed his recording of this song too. #20 - We've Got Tonight - Phillip Phillips: This was another one of Phillip's better performances and I also really enjoyed his recording of this. I ranked this at #13 so I also wished this was higher. But I'm not surprised that the performances ranked low here. Lol wow well done to .indulgecountry on 3 perfect ranks in a row. #19 - Without Me - Fantasia (with Kelly Rowland & Missy Elliott): Oooh dangg, I'm doing terribly all of a sudden with my #6 showing up.  Ugh noo, I'm sad this showed up so low as I really liked this song from Fantasia and company. This is a hot jam and deserved better. But now I'm glad it beat out Phillip's Idol performances. #18 - Look Up Child - Lauren Daigle: Oh I thought I ranked this lower than #17, lol. No complaints on this ranking. #17 - Lose to Win - Fantasia: Fantasia out here doing worse than these country males and Phillip songs? Ughh not here for this. :'( Ooh okay, I ranked this at #14 so that's not too great. I do really like this but liked "Without Me" more. I still wish this was a bit higher though. #16 - Tie It Up - Kelly Clarkson: Cute, fun song from Kelly but far from my favorite of hers. It's just okay overall, hence my #19 rank. This is probably a really low ranking for a Kelly song but I'm fine with its ranking. #15 - Crying on A Suitcase - Casey James: Okay finally my #20 shows up. This was alright. Never was much of a Casey fan but it's a nice/decent song. #14 - I Am Beautiful - Candice Glover: Aww this is a really beautiful song from Candice and wished this ranked higher as I ranked this at 8th. I get how it can be cheesy to some but I always loved her vocal delivery and connection to the song. #13 - People Like Us - Kelly Clarkson: Oh wow I forgot that I had ranked this at #4. I kinda had a conflicting relationship with this song but overall, I do really like this. It's a fun anthemic song from Kelly and she sounds great here. I do think sometimes the chorus annoyed me back then but it doesn't so much now. Wish this had ranked higher. #12 - See You Tonight - Scotty McCreery: Oh phew, glad to see that this missed the Top 10 as this was my #21. I never really cared or could get into Scotty in general. This song was no different. #11 - Don't Forget Me - Katharine McPhee: Oh phew, I'm glad this broke the tie over Scotty's song due to the #1 ranking. This is a really gorgeous and stunning song from Katharine. I ranked this at #10 so I wish this could have made it into the Top 10 but this ranking is okay. |

#10 - Good in Goodbye - Carrie Underwood: This is a beautiful and moving track from Carrie. I liked it enough to rank it at #16. I just preferred her other two much more so I'm good with this being her first song to show up. #9 - Don't Rush - Kelly Clarkson (with Vince Gill): Okay good, I ranked this at #18 so I was hoping to see this show up soon. Nice song and Kelly sounds lovely on this but again, not one of my favorites from her. #8 - Overcomer - Mandisa: Oooh yayy I really liked this a lot as I ranked it at #9 so I'm glad to see this rank so highly to make it to 8th here. This is a beautiful, moving song but it also has a great uplifting feel to it. Catchy song too. #7 - Doin' Fine - Lauren Alaina: Even though I ranked this at #12, i do really like this from Lauren and happy to see it rank so high here. This is a beautiful and moving song from Lauren. #6 - Gone, Gone, Gone - Phillip Phillips: Okay this was my #15 rank and I am glad to see this missing out from making the Top 5. It's a nice, enjoyable and catchy song from Phillip. Wow this did really well in rankings with all of its rankings in the Top 15. #5 - Dark Side - Kelly Clarkson: Wow it's crazy how we go from 70 points to 53 points from #6 to #5. :o This is a really beautiful and touching song from Kelly. Love this and am glad to see this rank so well. #4 - Home - Phillip Phillips: Great song from Phillip and definitely my favorite song of his hence I ranked it 3rd. #3 - See You Again - Carrie Underwood: Really like and think this is such a stunning and moving song from Carrie. I ranked this 5th so I'm good with its ranking but do wish this was Carrie's highest ranking song. #2 - Two Black Cadillacs - Carrie Underwood: I would preferred SYA to be higher but TBC is still a great song and deserving of making it this high. I ranked this at #7 so I do prefer a few others but still do really like this song. The song and video are equally so dark and haunting. #1 - Catch My Breath - Kelly Clarkson: OMGG yayyy my #1 song wins!  LOL wow I got perfect ranks for my #22 and my #1, how amazing is that? I'm happy with that. But yess, now this is a Kelly song that I do really love. This is a great fun song and Kelly's voice really shines on this. And woww this getting 25 points and being such a runaway winner. And wow, all of those Top 4 ranks with just one #8 ranking. Thanks for running another fun Idol rankdown, fireflies! |
