I haven't been here in awhile so planning on catching up here now.
#22 - Roll Some Mo - Lucky Daye: I was shocked finding out this was David Brown, lol. Not surprised this came in last but I did like this, enough so to rank it at #19.
#21 - Baby, It's Cold Outside - Haley Reinhart & Casey Abrams: Sad to see this come in so low as I ranked this at #13. I thought this would have done better.
#20 - Can't Help Falling in Love - Haley Reinhart & Casey Abrams: Dangg another Haley & Casey collabo coming in so low? I ranked this 10th so I wish this was higher. I'm rather surprised but I guess Pulse doesn't care for them? This is so beautiful though I just think of this as a Haley solo.
#19 - I'll Be Home for Christmas - Kelly Clarkson: Good spot for this as I ranked this at #17. Not one of Kelly's best Christmas songs but still enjoyable.
#18 - Far Away - Chris Richardson (with Tyga): Ugh darn I'm sad to see this show up as I ranked this at #5 and I do really love this song. :'( It was great seeing Chris on a mainstream popular song like this.
#17 - The Trouble with Girls - Scotty McCreery: Ugh this winning the tie with a #4 ranking. I should have pushed "Far Away" to 4th or so lol. Not really a fan of Scotty or his original music, so this was kind of an easy #22 ranking for me. Congrats to Scotty & Gabi on about to become parents.
#16 - Night of Your Life - Jennifer Hudson (with David Guetta): I had no idea about this song until this rankdown. It was fun and interesting hearing Jennifer on an EDM track like this but she sounded great. Had this at #12 so I wished this ranked higher.
#15 - Let's Don't Call It a Night - Casey James: This was alright but not a song that did much for me, hence the #21 ranking from me.
#14 - Better Than I Know Myself - Adam Lambert: Not my favorite from Adam but I still really enjoy this song, enough so to rank it at 11th.
#13 - Think Like a Man - Jennifer Hudson (with Ne-Yo & Rick Ross): Ahh now this is a Jennifer song I know and love, as I ranked this at #8. Dang this is another song I wish could have ranked higher but glad it did well here at least.
#12 - Dirt Road Prayer - Lauren Alaina: Never heard this before but this was a very pretty and emotional song from Lauren. Liked this enough to rank this at #15.
#11 - Free - Haley Reinhart: Aww I love "Free" as I ranked this at #6 so ugh I'm bummed to see this one miss out making the Top 10 too. :'( This is a great debut single from Haley.

Hmmm yeah this Top 10 isn't really my favorite as I lost some of my biggest faves early on. But I do love the Kelly songs, solo Carrie songs, Lauren and Pia songs of this Top 10 so fingers crossed for them. #10 - Never Close Our Eyes - Adam Lambert: Enjoyable song from Adam that I ranked at #14, but I preferred his other single in this game over this one. #9 - Like My Mother Does - Lauren Alaina: Gorgeous and beautiful song from Lauren. Really liked this and thought this was a great debut single from her. Oooh yayy I ranked this at #9 and finally got me a perfect ranking here, woohoo.  #8 - Crawling Back to You - Daughtry: This is good and I like this but not my favorite from Daughtry hence my #16 ranking. Chris does sound great but it's just not a song I was that familiar with. #7 - Tough - Kellie Pickler: This is a beautiful and moving song from Kellie. Interesting seeing the rankings for this all over the place, with lots of high rankings but then a few low teens rankings. I do like this but #18 was as high as I could have put this as I preferred all the songs I ranked above this. #6 - Remind Me - Carrie Underwood (with Brad Paisley): Oooh phew, glad to see that this missed making the Top 5. I do love Carrie but an all Kelly/Carrie Top 5 would have been boring - though I'm sure it will be a Kelly/Carrie Top 4, lol. Anyway, "Remind Me" is a pretty song. I like this song mainly for Carrie and what she brings to it. Brad sounds good but his parts don't do too much for me. #5 - This Time - Pia Toscano: Yeah Pia coming in at #5 compared to the Kelly and Carrie songs was as clear as day to see, haha. Dang I ranked this 4th so just one spot off from a perfect ranking. Sadness as I do love this song and think it's a great debut single from Pia. I'm so happy she was able to finally release her album earlier this moment. #4 - Good Girl - Carrie Underwood: Ahh I had a feeling that the Carrie song I loved more would be her lower ranked song, lol. I do really love "Good Girl" and think this was such a fun and exciting song/video from her. #3 - Mr. Know It All - Kelly Clarkson: This is a great and enjoyable song from Kelly... and ooh yayy I ranked this at #3 alongside 3 other people. :o Yayy I'm so happy to get a perfect ranking for this song. #2 - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) - Kelly Clarkson: Ughh noo, I'm sad "Stronger" couldn't pull off the win as I do really love this and it's one of my favorites from Kelly. :'( Strong song with a great anthemic feel to it. It makes me feel so happy. Wow 4 #1s and 3 #3 rankings is amazing. A shame about those two lower rankings that caused this to lose. :'( #1 - Blown Away - Carrie Underwood: There's no denying that this is such a powerful and beautiful song from Carrie. I do appreciate this song a lot. I did prefer a few others hence this being my #7. Oh and wow this was my least favorite of the Top 5 I noticed, lmao. I don't mind as I do get the love for this and it's one of Carrie's best. It's cool how everyone put this in their Top 7 and there are two #1s and four #2 rankings. |

I thought Volcano would go a little farther. TBH, that and the duets he had with Elise Testone were his only good performances while on Idol, imo.

Happy to see we started off booting the three weakest tracks and in the same order I ranked them!
We quickly derailed though with those Fantasia losses and I expected "Crying on a Suitcase" to do much better. The Kelly Clarkson track is one of the most insufferable things she's ever done and I had almost forgotten it existed, so I'm glad that was unceremoniously tanked. 🚮

I like "I Am Beautiful" despite its basic lyrics and the heavy (unnecessary) autotune.
Love "Crying on a Suitcase." Casey James' country album being as strong as it is was surprising to me when I finally listed to it. He really deserved success with that album considering its quality.
