This is such a powerful song from Kelly. The music video totally brings this to life and her vocals are on fire! Everyone had this in their top 15, which is wonderful to see! Congrats to fireflies for picking the winning song! This was a photo race finish. Only 1 point divided Kelly and Carrie!
It came down to the wire. Before the last list came in, "Before He Cheats" was ahead by 10 points. But, in the end, the "Hazel Eyes" crossed the finish line first!

Poor BHC. Except for one time it's always been stuck at #2; it's almost funny at this point! But at least she wasn't a slouch and almost had it again!!! Kelly is a worthy person to beat Carrie, but I do wish it was with something like "Breakaway."

Sad i missed out on this. I don’t think i’ve ever really spent much time in this section of pulse.  I started watching AI because of Carrie but i continued to watch it pretty religiously until the season that Mariah and Nicki Minaj were judges. My interest definitely started to fade around that time, although i do still watch here and there. 

Over the years there have been numerous singers that i have bought albums from because of this show...obviously Carrie but also Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson, Lauren Alaina, Kat McPhee, David Cook, Kellie Pickler, Jordin Sparks, Philip Phillips, i think even have Lee Dwyze’s post idol album... i may even be forgetting some others
