Don't think there's a less likable person in music right now.

Don't think there's a less likable person in music right now. Definitely not true, a person having number one song is in the top 1% of the most likable persons throughout the population. The public speaks and they want obviously 6ix9ine. What we should learn from this? Maybe we need to determine what is music. Should 6ix9ine chart in music or maybe there should be the new category of countdowns - the public announcement chart or the personal background chart.

I donβt know anyone in real life who likes him. The only people I see liking him are people commenting on Billboards insta posts.

Not necessarily, given how minimal people can have a maximum impact on the chart. Iβd be surprised if 1% of the population even recognized his name.

Do you think that people cannot choose by themselves but through a certain person like DJ? Were people represented better when radio had a bigger impact on charts. But why then radio is not playing Childish Gambino's new album, which is great, but he has not sent any songs to the adds or saying the other way - he did not pay money to radio. So the question here is actually - do artists have to pay money to a third party to be liked by people? Or should people be educated about their tastes? And if they are not educated, they will go primitive way and ask 6ix9ine?

If his label, which is an indie label, can garner a #1(obviously with Minaj's help), and a top #3 debut, he's definitely about to do something "big" to gain another chart topper. Longevity wise, is a different story.

I'm saying the music people listen to now is so spread out that an artist simply needs to reach more than any other artist in order to be #1 - well, with the exception of bulk buys, or artists who only need to reach minimal audiences willing to buy a song multiple times - so that should probably somehow be changed.

I can see something like a #12 debut. For all the tricks pulled, "TROLLZ" still pulled a slightly lower SPS first week than "Gooba". Without the Barbz the drop should be sizable.
Btw Nicki is not on this one, some people can stop pretending to like him. It's fine y'all.
