Monument record? isn't that Shane McAnally's? Yeah this and his debut single were released through Monument. I like this better than his debut but it’s still a bit on the bland side for me.

Really Shouldn't Drink Around You is mediocore and bland AF but saved by the remix which featured Meghan Patrick. That song had peaked around 60-55 right?

Shane really believes in Teddy, hence why he’s on Shane’s label with Sony Nashville.
I liked “Really Shouldn’t Drink Around You,” but the production style I didn’t really enjoy. “Heaven on Dirt” is good but not amazing — I can hear the influence of 90’s and mid 2000’s country in his music though. Teddy’s voice reminds me of Bill McCorvey, the lead singer for Pirates of the Mississippi.

I wish Tell Me How would have seen the light of day. That's a great song.
This is just meh.

This is better than this debut single, but still feels a little bland and unmemorable to me as well. This sounds like a song that would've been a home run in the hands of Blake Shelton. I can hear him all over this one, but Teddy's voice is just not distinctive at all.

I can hear him all over this one, but Teddy's voice is just not distinctive at all. I think his voice sounds good on the verses, but once the chorus kicks in I totally agree. He's practically doing a Blake Shelton impersonation at that point, and he just doesn't have the voice to do that. I do like this song, but I'm not sure I see it standing out enough to break him through.

^Oh that’s nice to hear. I just discovered this song a few weeks ago and fell in love.
Hope it turns into a sleeper hit.

Great song, has been on the Breakout Chart by MusicRow, but glad to see on the Billboard Chart. Far better than his first single. Nevertheless, haven't found anything unique about him yet, so not sure how he builds up his career.

I just listened to this and I really love it. Hope it can be a hit but I’m not confident that it will be.
